Rescue plan seeks $700B to buy bad mortgages

Our economies fine, it's peoples attitudes that are bad. Look at it this way, teachers strike because they " need " more money, the unions strike because they " need " more money, city workers do the same. All the while people are being taxed to death, the cities are eroding from the inside out because there taxed to death, and generally, in large cities, there are more people on welfare then not, thus , the commute. This is why companies move there businesses elsewhere, it's half the price, and people are glad to do it. Greed, lust , and hatred are taking over, the fact people arent spending there money is because they are taxed so high that there isn't much to go around after putting the normal amount n there savings. -

Thank you !!!!!!!!! And I'll second that. I was in the bank last wed. , ther was a pretty good line waiting, I listened to the chick arguing with the clerk about how to cash her check, it was hilarious, she thought she was special, she had a business check, and wanted cash, you can't do that . Even if you have the liquid in there, the check still needs to be deposited if it is written to a business. She said she did it all the time there, well, i have gone to that bank for over 15 years, so I knew several of the long term employees, they were looking at me like they needed help :haha: She wouldn't take no for an answer until the manager stepped out and stook her into her ofice and explained to her ( loudly ) after being yelled at , that there was no way it was going to happen, there is a three day hold on most business checks. The funny part was at the end when the woman demanded that she go to the ATM and withdraw money then. Finally the manager said fine, go try. I was still in line when the woman came rushing back in screaming " don't deposit your money, the bank stole mine " :2funny: whaa?????? -
Where are the jumper settings? And have you tried to boot from it ? You cannot see it in " my computer " ? Do you have the drivers installed, are the usb ports open, and installed ? Did you goto hdd management and give a drive letter ? Try running "diskmgmt.msc" , you should make sure , of you can see your drive, that it is not set to dynamic, , that it is to to basic.

For one, an IDE drive needs power, you'll have to somehow get a cable to the drive .

Try using unlocker This is the direct download ! If you still cannot delete the file, then download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop from: malwarebytes-antimalware run the setup.exe , tick the boxes that say "Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes " then restart and scan in safemode.

You need to , if not already, call the ISP and give them the mac address of the new modem, they have to switch it over, or it will never work. -
exactly, he should try a larger test, say the 12 MB file.

TCP breaks dow the application data from end user down into TCP packets, Each packet has a header with the address of the host, information for putting the data back together, and info for making sure the data isnt corrupted. IP breaks the packets down further into a header with the address info, and carries the TCP info and data. IP packets are volatile , so they keep sending packets until the correct IP packets get through. ( you are probably familiar with the term " packet loss " Subnet packets break down the IP packets and add there own info. The IP packet might get through before the subnets get through due to possible corruption of the IP packets. If the end user and the host are not connected by subnets, another protocol might come into play, there called " SLIP " , and or " PPP ". ( Phone lines ) If you were able to see the packets , they would look like a series of " pulses ". When the packets reach the host, each level gets unpacked allowing the TCP level to reassemble the data into the format the host can understand. These are the very basics, there is also (encryption, token rings ). The basic breakdown in packets are application layer, transport layer, internet layer, subnet layer, link layer, and physical layer. It's been a while since I learned this, so if there is a mistake, someone please jump in here . Hope this gets you started.

There is someone else here that has a modem that kept resetting itself, finally it was decided that the modem was defective. maybe be very persistent with the ISP, keep calling them , telling them the problem.

We all are aware of the severity of what has transpired, and what may be happening concerning America's financial situation, but the world money markets. There are major corporations folding everyday, let alone the dozens of unheard of smaller institutions going under. What I would like to hear is your personal opinion about this very serious situation. Now please, this is not a partisan problem, right now , it is not a blame game, we need to slow down, and take a very close look at what is going on in each others lives, as well as all of our opinions. So if you can, or are willing, please discuss what you feel about what has happened, and where you think things are headed, and even what you think we can do, not only as a nation, but personally as well. For me, things are tight, I have watched one of by businesses ( my main source of income, plastering/drywall contracting) lose over 95% of it's income. Not pretty at all. We are struggling in all of or businesses, people are just not spending there one like they were. I have watched nearly 90% of my competition fold, there nowhere to be found. Even laborers are slim to none. I have three major jobs going on right now, one of which is a commercial account , I need 30 plus workers, I have called nearly every number I have , and two , out of over 50 people, and or contractors even had there phone turned on. What are we going to do, are you going to take your finances out of the banks, will you take this time, since you have the advantage, to invest in some of the opportunities that are surrounding you right now? I have started another business, i have to, I don't work for anyone, I create things to bring in revenue. This is not a political thread, this is a personal issue we are all involved in.

This must have something to do with the breakdown and packeting of data before transmission. Can you elaborate ?
-
Thats because there stupid commercials.

I'm just speculating , but there are intermittent servers that serve every connection, and in a storm like that, as wide spread , man, I have to think they will be back up as soon as they can . I'm assume it's not a small job. -
Welcome to testmy.net mrsandman2008 ok so you had dsl, and then upgraded, then you couldn't connect. Then went back, and still cannot connect, Right ? My first thought would be you are using a wireless connection with this modem, and during the " reset " the modem went to defaults, that means you might have to get into the modem, and place your username , and password into it, ( probably already done that ) , then you need to place it in " bridged mode ", there is a setting in there to accomplish this. Post whatever you can, and we'll make as much sense of it as we can.

cool, what are they tryin to say ?

3 US soldiers charged with murder in Iraqi deaths
mudmanc4 replied to tommie gorman's topic in General Discussion
Wonder if this has anything to do with the Ramos that has been jailed for defending the US border. They say that those people will get to your family, because it is heavy drug trafficking.
