I agree, this is causing problems, you'll need to forward this Ip address as well. You have the machine set to a specific IP, and the router set to DHCP, which assigns an IP. Or simply use DHCP as Supreme1 stated, on both the machine, and router.

I agree, and people can't take it, there so ill effected that something that they actually are , offends them. Why ? Because they don't want to be who they are. I'm sure it does, but the password supposedly gets into the circuit board rom. The way i see things, it was put there, it can be removed.

On that note, do you have any suggestions on how to remove a HDD password ? I found a couple programs tht will accomplish this, but they are costly.

Why would he have to do this to go through customs, i don't understand. If your trying to get the password removed, dban will not do this, I would like to be proven wrong though.

I'll take a stab and say there is either a memory ( ram ) issue, and or you have a few nasties on your machine.

Then you did the right thing by creating the IP filter, most people have no idea you can do these things in windows, and will never look. Just for reference, " gpedit.msc " can be used to adjust settings thruought the system, but be careful what you change.
