You know , if you turn on a computer, your location is marked. If you do not have the connection in your name , it's put off on someone else, but the exact location of the computer turned on , will never go away. The computer you made the connection with , is marked by the mac address of the network card. It is tracked by that set of alpha numeric sequences for the life of the card / laptop. It goes further. Nothing is private, unless you were born in a house or otherwise , never recorded by government . Then you would not be reading this because you have no power let alone know how to type. But then again , I'm not naive enough to think there aren't those out there in that exact situation that are pure genius and can roam the earthen net going unnoticed. Get over it people. Hi Corley, Welcome to testmy.net To start the scheduled speed test , " hover " over the tab " speedtests " then you'll see the various options. At the bottom is the scheduled speed test tab > Once you reach the scheduled speed test page , you'll be presented with the test interval options , adjust these setting with the " test interval " tab > You can then simply allow the test to run. Reduce the tab on your browser the test is running and continue working.

I think a few others might be better well equipped browser experience wise to answer this, but from what I understand a browser such as chrome will be like a CDN or a cache in some sense. Hi Tom , I'm on RR , not 50 , as it's not offered here in NW ohio, 15/ .7 and Iv'e had increasingly slow speeds, and it's getting terribly worse. Over the last several months , and most recently , the last several days to a week has been horrific. I agree , most windows machines have some sort of issue with the sleep feature, especially hibernate . I remember fighting with the auto sleep or hibernate feature on a DX266-xl running ME and 8 MB EDO ..... arrgh !!! Hell, just closing the lid of a laptop at times can render the machine bricked until manually rebooted and even then lol I'm sure it has something to do with the means and differences between the procedures and location devised to save the current running apps, threads what have you that makes the difference. With ME it was a ghost chase at every turn anyhow.

Allow me to append that comment , as I use sleep on the mac every night , it's never not woken up within a fraction of a second. Of course it has to connect to the network, but after typing in the pass , it's on.

Hi , this is a very common issue with the vostro , I'm going to guess your running windows 7 ? if in fact you are running windows 7 , then this hotfix , should take care of it. Dell Vostro windows 7 will not wake from sleep fix If you are not running windows 7 , then do not install the hotfix

I can't remember the name of the thing to save me. I would bet that tdawn will if she see's it though. Yea there's a lot of space here to be gardened , the pics are only a small part of it all and at least three years old ( I could look in the exif if I needed to ) and there's a lot more. Moving maybe 25 Km away, smaller , going from about 6 acres to 1/3 acre , but tons of garden area. Life changes over time , and priorities go with. Gonna do a lot more traveling this way. That and I have some serious responsibilities headed my way, I'll need the freedom I'm gaining. Better part of the day I spent with rake in hand , cleaning up the garden area's that were left to go a bit wild for the last year or two, what a mess. I did find rhubarb , asparagus , onions, several different types of herbs , and quite a few things i dunno wtf they are lol

Hey , gardening is a blast, I could care less what anyone says about the way I do hahaha, here's a few pics from a few years ago around the house , pics don't do it justice , but then again , camera's aren't really my forte´either, much like the elusive , functioning " weed whacker " ( hint : the infernal machines and I are not on the same wavelength in the slightest sense if it. The shrubs had an issue on and off for the last 3 years The orange guy's ( forget the name there all over the US ) are great in a salad or lightly breaded and browned , and the roots , or tubers , are good in the salad or even getting a mess of them and mashing them like potatoes. yum Bah , Id'e better stoppit, have to get to the new place and work on all the landscape there before it starts raining again.
