I'm not sure what settings you had in cablenut, but if you still have the original CSS file you used to begin with I would reload that into the cablenut program, and then change the defaultreceivewindow in the top left box to 150380 then save to registry and exit and restart PC The reason I say this is everything showed good on your test at broadbandreports except the RWIN was showing too high, you can run it that high but I have found that if it is too high it can cause the round trip time to skyrocket causing slower loading web pages. So try that and see how that works for you, it can always be changed again if need be.

are you using cablenut also ?

Try these settings with DrTcp. Run a speed test before and after to see if it did you any good. After changing settings don't forget to save /exit and restart PC

Try going to device manager and go to view and check show hidden devices then see if there are duplicates of the same drive(s), if so, uninstall all of the CD drives showing and the Floppy drive also if it's showing dupe's , restart PC and see if that helps.

So at this point who cares.....It's wrong, somebody please put an end to this thread.

We have a local Co. here and they are advertising on TV that they offer 20Mbps DSL, I thought OK I'll bite, when I inquired about it I told him I was about 18,000' away from the CO. and would I still get that speed, after himming and hawing he said well more like 3 to 5 Mbps. CLICK! that's what I thought.......lol Below is an illustration, if you are not camped out on their doorstep it sucks.

It's just a test , like a speed test but when you are done with it you can click more information and it gives you a report about your connection. I have found that a lot of it is inaccurate depending on the network congestion, the actual download speed test seems allright but the upload part can be manipulated by your send window settings.
