nanobot Posted April 3, 2020 CID Share Posted April 3, 2020 @php Like @mudmanc4 said, I had to add 'client-type' 'advanced' to the expert options. This allows you to get the beta WU's. Estimated production for just my desktop is ~1.3 million PPD, just kicked everything off last night so I'm curious how it'll look over the weekend. php and mudmanc4 1
nanobot Posted April 4, 2020 CID Share Posted April 4, 2020 Just kicked one of my 2950's online. The other one is having some...personality issues. Trying to get it online before the night is over.
nanobot Posted April 4, 2020 CID Share Posted April 4, 2020 Got the second 2950 up. Side-note: some of the new COVID-19 projects are CPU-only, so make sure you have your CPU's in the mix. https://foldingathome.org/2020/03/30/covid-19-free-energy-calculations/
nanobot Posted April 4, 2020 CID Share Posted April 4, 2020 Both of my Supermicro's are up. 40 CPU Cores here, and 1 1080TI running. mudmanc4
mudmanc4 Posted April 6, 2020 CID Share Posted April 6, 2020 The world needs to borrow a foe CPU/GPU processes right now, can we find one in the crowd to turn the testmy.net team #44352 red? It only takes 2MM PPD (Points Per Day) to turn out stats red in the name of learning more about a virus that is devastating the humanoids. Even 50PPD helps, your math might have the key! nanobot Posted April 6, 2020 CID Share Posted April 6, 2020 Bad news @mudmanc4...teams take 10M PPD to turn Red. ☹️ mudmanc4
mudmanc4 Posted April 6, 2020 CID Share Posted April 6, 2020 @nanobot , thanks for pointing that out, I thought it was 2mm/ppd average, for red Strange, when did that get changed to
nanobot Posted April 6, 2020 CID Share Posted April 6, 2020 Yeah that's for users. To find the team colors you have to hit the general "All Teams List".

nanobot Posted April 10, 2020 CID Share Posted April 10, 2020 For anyone who wants it: I was searching for something else but came across the configuration guide for the v7 FAH client. https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/installation-guides/configuration-guide/
nanobot Posted April 10, 2020 CID Share Posted April 10, 2020 So I've finally hit the point where my GPU is having trouble picking up WU's. Earlier this week two of my servers started having trouble, so I think we're exhausting the FAH WU's again.
nanobot Posted April 15, 2020 CID Share Posted April 15, 2020 The two Supermicro's are getting WU's again! My GPU picks WU's up sporadically, so I'm only counting on it for ~half the PPD. CPU's here should be good for about 125k PPD. The GPU should be 700k to 1.5m depending on how WU's play out.
nanobot Posted May 15, 2020 CID Share Posted May 15, 2020 Team has dropped pretty substantially. I haven't been folding as much lately as I've been gaming with my PC again, so I turn it off for 4-8 hours a day. We're #961 right now, I suspect that will drop further before it goes up.
