Djay Posted July 3, 2007 CID Share Posted July 3, 2007 it was reported that smartbro has been upgraded from 384 to 512 in some provincial areas, i guess that explains the huge speed boosts over 384. i heard that too from their hotline.
bangkay Posted July 3, 2007 CID Share Posted July 3, 2007 hmm...is this true? i hope they could upgrade our bases here in the metro.
Djay Posted July 3, 2007 CID Share Posted July 3, 2007 hmm...is this true? i hope they could upgrade our bases here in the metro. hahaha i've been experiencing very low download speed this past few days and when i called the support hotline they told me that they're upgrading their base station. i jusy hope that it is true rather than "palusot lang".... bangkay Posted July 3, 2007 CID Share Posted July 3, 2007 haha i'm pretty sure they have that as their spiel. "sorry sir, we're currently upgrading" hahaha yeah right. i can just imagine how many calls we make a day and rant on their friggin' ears while they try to end the call as soon as possible. haha

Hahayzz kakasawa.

gourame Posted July 4, 2007 CID Share Posted July 4, 2007 hi everyone, just got back from Davao, seems everything is fine, more users coping up with smartbro's "quality" service. complaints, frustrated consumers etc, well smartbro has always been that and nothing new here. just keep up with them, they slack off, we report, buzz em up they're used to it. @bankay, give this file a shot. sorry been away i haven't check my box. jun101ph Posted July 4, 2007 CID Share Posted July 4, 2007 The explaination of having high download speed during midnight is obviously less subscribers are online these hours, no network congestion. I really wish one day smartbro connection will be stabilized. my speed

coolbuster2007 Posted July 5, 2007 CID Share Posted July 5, 2007 I will be monitoring my down speed the whole day today to make sure which time of the day the speed is highest and slowest. I'm a SmartBro Plan 999 subscriber. So far my speed is as follows: this is 1:00pm MLA time. Kanina at about 7 am, i got 605 Kbps or 74 KB/s. so bumaba nga slightly pero i think ok pa naman at this time of the day. no more tweaking for me muna. i'll observe this for a week, then i will post how I did the tweaking.
