beldeti Posted August 18, 2007 CID Share Posted August 18, 2007 I'd like to second NobleScarlet's question (over at page 11), I get the same message when I type arp -a at the command prompt. I've already tried pinging 10.0.0.1 then doing arp -a again, still the same message.
jeydicee127 Posted August 18, 2007 CID Share Posted August 18, 2007 im using smartbro (of course) formerly (smart wi-fi) and can access my canopy using 169.254.1.1. without having to change my TCP/IP properties,i tried to change the sustained downlink and uplink data rate with both 500, part 3 of your post. but after saving and rebooting, i got this message from the tray (LAN icon) that i have a limited or no connection so i had to put back the default value. it really sucks! anyway, did this after the guys from tech support were here yesterday to fix my connection, they replaced my radio and changed my color code, but still having a slow connection. Did i missed any? or it just dont work for me. i would really apperciate to know anything from you. thanks so much...
fr0stbound Posted August 18, 2007 CID Share Posted August 18, 2007 welcome to the forum jeydicee127. don't know why you'd have limited connection though.
thugster_9904 Posted August 18, 2007 CID Share Posted August 18, 2007 @ jeydicee The limited connectivity is much likely to be caused by the basestation your connected with. Maybe there's some network activity or network congestion. The tweak in the QoS does not do harm to connectivity instead, it just adjust your bandwidth capacity.. Try typing in command prompt ipconfig /release and after that, ipconfig /renew Hope it will work for you!! Good Day guys!!
fr0stbound Posted August 18, 2007 CID Share Posted August 18, 2007 what does those commands do?
thugster_9904 Posted August 18, 2007 CID Share Posted August 18, 2007 ipconfig /release- disconnects your internet ipconfig /renew- it reconnects your connection.. to make it short, it resets your connection as if you were restarting your computer.. do it to refresh your connection.. Please Help!! make sure u changed your lan card ip to 10.20.30.40 if your ip is in the 10's and if its not just use 192.168.3.3 if its the dafault 192.168.1.1 ip of canopy Hello guys patulong naman I can't seem to adjust my canopy settings it requires me to log in but i dont know the password! youre very unlucky cause u have no admin account in your canopy the only thing i can suggest to you is using the overideplug so u can create your own admin account in your computer. cause actually noone knows what the installers input in the admin accounts passwords
