Erm, I would like to bump this thread 

Who can tell me the best tweak for PLDT myDSL? I have cablenut and all tweak files so, if anyone here knows, please tell me ^^

I am switching to DSL Plan 999 (teh 1Mbps one, hopefully...), and the technicians will be coming here this friday. I am moving out of smartbroken PERMANENTLY! Bwahaha!

OT: To those who know, is it not allowed to have more than one telephone per phone line? Example, we have 3 phones but connected to only 1 line (via a splitter).

As for having extensions on your phone line, in my case the line man asked me point blank on how many extensions my house has. Told him, and he basically said they don't care about the extensions, only that each one has to have a filter attached to each one as to not interfere with the internet connection.

I never had a problem with PLDT so far, and its been 2 years.

have been trying to tweak it using the coolbuster's 10 ways for smart bro, but couldn't find the parameter that i need to change

for the registry.

have also tried the steps for speeding up the dsl, and still unlucky.

can anyone help me?

also does the it matter if you have a lot of splitter/extensions in your house?

1. post a screenshot of your task manager processes.

2. post a screenshot of your control panel add or remove programs.

3. are you using a firewall?

4. are you on a router?

5. what are the splitter/extentions for aside from using those for extension phones?

hi.

checking on the screenshot, i found out that your computer is infected by the ravmon virus

follow steps given below and you will be free from Ravmon.exe virus.

1. Confirm that you have ravmon.exe virus. Right-click on any drive, if you see invalid characters in the menu, you are infected.

2.You have stop the process of virus,go to Task Manager(Ctrl+Alt+Del), go into Processes tab and find the progam named "SVCHOST.EXE", there will few more svchost in small case but you have to terminate the one which is written in CAPS, if you see more than one

here @ testmt.net, I get 1.5 Mbps - 2.5Mbps speed every now and then

other speed testing sites shows me a different speed, i dont know why.

i was just wondering if i use tcp opt and unfortunately messed up with my connection, can i still revert to the orig settings. i don't even know how to access my zyxel modem. there is a manual but it seems to be not working, cant even access the first step found on the manual.

can't edit my previous post so i decided to post a new one.

after a few days out. now i just tried tweaking with TCPOptimizer:

i tried to set the connection speed bar to 6000Kbps with optimal settings and this is the result:

now i set this time on 3000Kbps with optimal settings again, here's what i get:

hence i recommend you try TCPOptimizer, don't forget to make a backup just in case u messed up with your speed.

by the way i'm still on PLDT BUNDLE PLAN 990.

I think the question is why , both are good tools to save manually editing the reg ,

I think from memory TCPOptimizer, makes a back up automaticly , or has the option to do so ,
