Buntz Posted January 26, 2008 CID Share Posted January 26, 2008 Have you try running your spyware and anti-virus in safe mode. Also make sure you clean out the system restore before you run your spyware and anti-virus
xs1 Posted January 26, 2008 CID Share Posted January 26, 2008 i agree, deffinatly need to do safe mode , mabey not " safe mode with networking " because if they are using the net to track, you dont want it to be running while your trying to find it

Buntz Posted January 28, 2008 CID Share Posted January 28, 2008 I put Spanish Ads in My Space into the search on Trend Micro virus search and came up with this. You might want to check it out. There maybe something in there that can help you. http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default2.asp?m=q&virus=spanish+ads+in+my+space&alt=spanish+ads+in+my+space&Sect=SA

LOL just my confused thinking but let us know the end conclusion , I spent an hour googling this problem this morning , " how does google know my location " it got very heavy going , and no real easy to understand answer's

tommie gorman Posted January 29, 2008 CID Share Posted January 29, 2008 Ok, how about a good old browser (internet connections etc...)and harddrive cleaning (ccleaner and defrag) for cookies. Empty your cache. Haven't seen it mentioned yet. And since you mentioned cookies Just a shot in the dark.

T3h_ChIpMuNk Posted March 27, 2008 CID Share Posted March 27, 2008 I know this was a couple of months ago, however, I have the same problem. I read through and found the CWShreder- that took care of the Spanish ads on Myspace. However, my Google is still stuck in Espana.

Have you tried restore point? to an earlier time than when it happened?
