mbrainerd Posted February 7, 2005 CID Share Posted February 7, 2005 I use firefox. Every so often I have to use IE, for business related things. Some of the web sites I use for business only work with IE or Netscape. I prefer FF

netmasta Posted February 7, 2005 CID Share Posted February 7, 2005 I started using Firefox in November, and haven't looked back. If I need to, I will use IE for certain sites. But that seems to be very rare.

cholla Posted February 9, 2005 CID Share Posted February 9, 2005 Hi disturbed: To start a new poll you have to do it when you start a new topic .it is at the top of the main forum areas like general discussion. If you need this in the future.I don't know how to do a poll on a topic thats already started maybe a moderator could. I have IE it can have problems sometimes.I also have Kevin Solway's "Solway's Free Internet Search " v2.2 http://theabsolute.net/sware/ It makes a pretty good backup for free. Swimmer Posted February 20, 2005 CID Share Posted February 20, 2005 Welcome to the forum! I tried Opera 6 i believe and I hated it.. I might give this new one a try.. Didnt they just anounce this when MS said that IE 7 was coming out...? Back then there were ads on the browser itself.. on huge turn off! G~Bear Posted February 20, 2005 CID Share Posted February 20, 2005 Thanks Swimmer The answer to your question is NO.

organ_shifter Posted February 20, 2005 CID Share Posted February 20, 2005 Internet Explorer...there is no substitute! With IE7, Microsoft will finally slam the door in the digital faces of other browsers, setting the record straight and taking back their rightful place as "King of the Browsers". Dropping the bomb on FF, Opera, Avant, and others a long time ago would have been great! All hail Internet Explorer!!! Can you do this with FF? G~Bear Posted February 20, 2005 CID Share Posted February 20, 2005  Yeah, and you really believe billy boy After how many years, they are finally going to upgrade/fix I.E Now that's funny  setting the record straight What record? Oh... I.E's extremely poor record on just about everything. Or maybe they'll fix the holes like they did with SP2 . If you believe this O.S then may the force be with you because you'll definetley need it
organ_shifter Posted February 20, 2005 CID Share Posted February 20, 2005 Yeah, and you really believe billy boy Bill Gates has never done anything to me personally. As a matter of fact, he's never done anything to you either. Don't hate the playa. Blaming everything on young Bill has played out. Get off the bandwagon. Anyway, it's a personal preference. I just like IE way better. That's my personal opinion. Plus, I have always put up higher scores with IE than with any other browser. 1 :::..
