mudmanc4 Posted October 28, 2008 CID Share Posted October 28, 2008 Is it just me or is that admin making me feel less and less secure =[ There's nothing to worry about, your information is always secure. How were you getting those speeds anyway ?

tommie gorman Posted October 28, 2008 CID Share Posted October 28, 2008 Actually not exactly. 100mbps is more the norm, and thats usually in the big cities. And if you were to go look at the speedtest.net stats for japan you would see that the averages are no where even close to that. Which basically proves there is no point in having a 100mbps connection to your front door unless your streaming a ton of porn. So where is this line to sign up? docarter Posted October 28, 2008 Author CID Share Posted October 28, 2008 they know fake tests and those tests you are posting are fake. I can get that same exact speed test on my lan and do that. also any legit speedtest site wont have an unregistered version of that test. The Recording software was unregistered... =S :haha: That does happen with too much confidence. This place has been around the block a few times. I am glad your listening now though. I was meaning that him posting all that info not about him proving me wrong.... Also, I live in South Georgia...
Blunted 2 Posted October 28, 2008 CID Share Posted October 28, 2008 I used that software before and ran my own speedtest with it and that is exactly what it is says when it is the unregistered version.
xs1 Posted October 29, 2008 CID Share Posted October 29, 2008 Also, I live in South Georgia... :sigh: than why is is that all 3 IP addresses that you have used on this site, all stem back to Wildblue Communications Inc. of Englewood ? Shug7272 Posted November 1, 2008 CID Share Posted November 1, 2008 Also your speed registered over 1000mbps when that would never happen because you would never find a speed test server that has over a 1 gbps connection to it. A direct 1gbps to 1gbps connection will only do around 980mbps. And there is no way in hell you would ever be able to push 1000mbps + across the normal public internet. We know you do not have that kind of connection to your house. Insanely rich people don't even that kind of connection to there homes. I've only seen 1 person have a 1gbps connection to there house and he had to buy it directly from cogent and pay for a 600mbps commitment. A OC-192 is 10gbps your thinking on a OC-48 being 2gbps like he claims Careful with the personal info guys.

xs1 Posted November 1, 2008 CID Share Posted November 1, 2008 Columbus Network Access Point, Inc lol.Ok. So you agree that " your/not your " sat. is nice because you cannot trace the location , yet now your telling us that the ip address that your using , and stemming back to wildblue , is not your real ip. Which must mean that your using a proxy ( which your not; a proxy through sat. would have insanely high ping times, damn near the 2000's ms ) ? Plus, to choose a proxy, going thru a sat.... would make accessing the internet damn near impossible; Because again, sat. has insanely high ping times ( talk to the folks with Dway ) . Which would aso be completely ridiculous to have such high speeds, and want to post them going through pre-dialup bandwidths. Not to mention you said this is not a work connection, somehow you bribed the FCC to allow you to have a GB connection to your home, and STILL cannot provide us with the simple Network Diagnostic [speed] tests (links) that i have provided to you numerous times now. Your story is cheesy, and quite frankly boring now. Enjoy your derisory dream of a wildblue-proxy-colocated- NAP 2gbit home hybrid connection you've got going on there.
