dn0 Posted June 2, 2011 CID Share Posted June 2, 2011 How's it going, Van? That is a nice push all the way over the big puddle to Texas, USA. What kind of crazy service is your ISP giving you these days?

CA3LE Posted June 2, 2011 CID Share Posted June 2, 2011 Daaaamn, so do you have any idea why the upload is so unaffected while the download suffers? 28 Mbps, overseas... wow. But it makes me wonder why some people can seem to only do this on upload (over great distance). Why is that? Are you being limited somewhere along the way... why wouldn't that limit your upload as well?
xs1 Posted June 3, 2011 CID Share Posted June 3, 2011 Mines the exact opposite. I can download over great distances but upload is max 10 mb/s overseas..

Blako Posted June 7, 2011 CID Share Posted June 7, 2011 I am also timing out on the third to the last hop of a testmy.net trace route! I know some servers deny a trace route for security reasons and yes its possible that this hop of the trace is being blocked, but I cannot reach 60% of my advertised 10mpbs connection on Google chrome and very rarly reach 80% of advertised on firefox. And don't fret , I cannot reach even 40% of my advertised current speed.
