Hey All: This is partly in response to Budda_ Tree's quote of part of the second amendment about " A well regulated Militia" this is the part gun control advocates always quote.Although all American citizens are part of this militia the draft used in the past & useable in the future is proof of this .If the country decides it needs you you will be drafted into the militia .This is usually males within a certain age range but it does not have to be. This part does not use miltia in saying who has the right " the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." but people. So as one of the people I support & exercise this right. Cholla

Hey REH :Since you already returned it its too late for advice.I would have treated it like they never put it in my account.Let them spend their time tracking it down which I'm sure they would have done.Then as long as it was still there it wouldn't have wasted any of your time.I surepaypal or ebay didn't pay you for the time you spent returning it.As for keeping it I bet the E-contract with paypal or ebay already covers something like this in the fine print.you can be sure they have their ass covered.Definatly a temptation though obviously the moral thing to do was return it.My way would have done this just at no waste of your time. Hey all: Shug7272: It is budbem that said this not me. peepnklown : You & I have a very different veiw of the founding fathers.They did pretty good since they really had nothing to pattern the new government after.It is what has been done since that is the problem.I hope we can avoid a revolution it might end up worse because the revolutionary government could do away with all current laws including the Constitution. Which if the Congress & Supreme Court followed we would not have much to complain about. peepnklown: I am aware of USA funding the people they want in power in certain countries.That is something that might be considered in the USA's best interest.It seems to be the opinion some have that it was OK for France to act in their best interest but like usual not for the USA.Even though this has backfired on us I am against any foreign funding by the USA myself. cak46: My problem is not with France acting in their best interest if they had been upfront that any information they got they would pass on if it was in their best interest,If this classified information caused the death of American troops how many would have to be killed before France would be wrong for acting in their best interest? Would it be OK for a United States citizen to sell N.Korea the missle & nuclear bomb blueprints of the USA's best . If it was in their best interest you know for money .Or would this be crossing the line of best interest?They could then take the money & go to another country to be out of range.I think most would consider this a crime.The point is its not OK for a country or individual to do anything just because they consider it to be in their best interest. netmasta : The US might be to blame for not being ready to shoot commercial airplanes down when the are offcourse & don't respond.This is still a hard decision to make.How would you like the job of making that decision.This would have ment losing about 800 lives instead of adding 3000 more too the total.Since this hadn't happend here before I don't think anyone was ready to make that decision. Now to address the second part of your response.I beleive in protectionism (that means as little involvment with other countries as possible(as simple as it can be stated).But as stated in this topic I beleive the USA,Europeon Union & theUN are going for a one goverment planet. My ancestors were hear before the American Revolution the native American ones a long time before.These people worked hard ,fought ,died to develope this country into what it is now.Trying to make it so each generation would have it better than the last one.The citizens (past & present) of other countries including third world ones have not been willing to do this or they would have it better or all have died fighting for a better government.They now want it the easy way by coming here for example how many American citizens have you heard of trying to sneak accross the Mexico border to have a better life.The reason we have what we do is our ancestors were willing to make the sacrifices the did.The native Americans sacraficed the most because they lost all of an almost unblemished land.And I sure don't expect to see them get it back with each of the nations having their own new democracy.Like the plan for Iraq. How about blaming the terorists for their own actions.Iraq & other middle eastern countries have trained & financed terrorists where is their responsibility.You can not blame this on the USA. This is like blaming the victem of a crime for being there instead of the criminal Or the gun for commiting the crime.I would see us be protectionists as stated in my previous post. Hi 24Kbps: Before the last 2 posts MUff!N I think found your problem or at least part of it.Read the Norton link & follow the instructions.At least before you give up & reinstall.The problem with reinstalling is you lose all of your extra programs & have to reinstall all of them.This is not too bad if you have them backed up on disk.Because if you want a really clean install you need to format first.BUT DON,T DO THIS WITH OUT THE FOLLOWING:A full installation disk or if you have an update disc you need the full instalation disk it updated;if you have a restore disk( probably a ghost clone) then it should do a clean install after a format. Hi MUff!N: I think that 24Kbps Is probably just young(& I'm old enough to call him young) & has the impatence that comes with that.He's had so many suggestions he can't remember them all nothing is working & he's frustrated with the whole mess.Especially since it is his brothers computer that has the real problem. 24Kbps doesn't say why his brother isn't working on his own computer.But at least he's smart enough to ask for help & thats more than I can say I was.I'm still learning all the time. Shug7272: Over all I thinks its been pretty civil. I wouldn't care about France either if they hadn't done something that could have affected the safety of our troops.Even if I think having them in Iraq is a bad idea.They still have my support. My retaliation against Iraq would not have involved putting American troops in Iraq.It would have been a missle & bomb war from aircraft carriers & subs.With no plans to start a democracy in Iraq only to retaliate for their terrorist support.Personally I would favor a protectionist government where we stayed out of everyone else's business & made them stay out of ours by force if necessary.This would mean no foreign aid,no American military bases on foreign soil(except for Cuba for obvious reasons),no foreign embassies( this would mean travel outside the USA at your own risk). In other words let the rest of the world take care of its problems & we would take care of ours. BUT THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN IT DOESN'T MEET THE AGENDA FOR A ONE GOVERNMENT PLANET THAT IS WHAT OUR LEADERS &the EUROPEON UNION & UN have in mind.Just watch & see as things move this direction. I would like to know too Are you a real Newbie 24kbs .we don't mind helping if you are but you might want to slow down on the tweaking until you read a little more.Otherwise you are going to have to reinstall It looks like you're getting close to that know. 24Kbps: System restore sometimes doesn't work all that well.try these 2 things if you can reinstall the Sygate program,reboot,see if this corrected your problem.If it did not correct the problem uninstall it again,reboot & see if that corrected the problem. Suggestion 2 do a scanreg /restore this is different than system restore.I am not sure exactly how to do this in XP but try this.Start button Run scanreg /restore. all you have to type in the run box is scanreg /restore just like it is here. Follow the windows directions to restart from the box that comes up.Once in the scanreg /restore screen select a registry backup from when the system was working correctly.& hope that it will do this sometimes it will tell you it can't.If it doesn't work just exit the scanreg screen . 24Kbps: I posted in your other simular topic.This awnsered my question about your Email.You can try the suggestions I made there.If you saved the Sygate download This maybe in your program files or C;windows.If you have it reinstall it & reboot.See if you can surf.If you still can't uninstall it again. 24Kbps:Just a place to start: Have you been tweaking the modem on this PC too? If so go back to your origional string temporarily.Does your Outlook Express work?If you use it.If you tweaked start from the last thing you tweaked & work backwards till the last time it was working.If you don't already do this you should keep notes on your tweaks all of the steps. On paper or print them so if you have a bad crash you have some info if you can't access it on your PC.I know this is like homework but sometimes very helpful.If you can't trace it back you could try Scanreg /restore to a registry when it was working.This should Take out any tweaks that were entered in the registry after that.The only problem with this is it will not always use the older restore.But you can try it if it doesn't work it won't hurt any thing it just won't fix anything either.
