Actually I have read several times to only run one tweak at a time. You might ask Fallow Earth about that. (Or maybe Van Buren.) As I think FE is the one I heard it from. Just a suggestion, I would have backed up my files when I started, and deleted or something like that. I only use TCP Optimizer so I am not sure. Some sort of conflict.

I have a similar problem when my step dad comes to visit. He wants to use mine as he is on dial up at home. But he thinks he has to reconfigure everything. I try to contend with it. He changes the resolution to the largest. He downloads programs. And by the end, I am frustrated to no end. And he gets aggravated when I go back and change it back. I do only put him in as a user. But I still have to try and get along, or they will not come and visit. One time I actually told him I must have some spyware on it. ( I changed most of it back) Just remember, you get to change it back when they are gone.

My apologies davidrose9, if it appeared that way. No the speeds are real Burst speeds. They are common for satelite. They are also good for page loading and surfing and such. But they only last a little while for actual file downloading. Anything larger than larger than 5MB on a file and I can guarantee you I will be D/Ling at 1030kbps. So it has started a few discussions about it. But the settings are real, and many here have used them and liked them. Or I would not have posted them. I just laughed to detour from flaming. Sorry again. And it sometimes it takes 3 days for those settings to fully set in your comp. I hope you enjoy them. I mainly surf so it works well for me. Yeah, I am not used to seeing it in the subject line. But at least you have a fairly nice option available to you. Maybe not as good as you would like. But better than many others. I am on satelite, now that would very much upset you on something like that.
