Then you win and I concede to you being correct, as I always tell my wife when she is in an argumentative mood and wants to be right. But in my mind we know I am not listening. So for those who are enjoying their speed bursting, enjoy it no matter what somebody else thinks. Once again i would enjoy a Blower on a large cubic inch engine. Others would enjoy a turbocharged 4 banger with total electronic control. Each to their own. And just let it be that way please! And yes it is fast if that is what they want it to do.

Actually in TCP Optimizer it is easier than that! Just press file at the top and it is in there. And if I remember right it is also there in cablenuts. You do not actually have to go into run and leave the program.

I can tear down a house,except wiring and furnace. I can tear down my 1965 mustang, except wiring. I now(thanks to testmy.net) can pretty much operate and diagnose most problems on a computer, as long as I don't have to go past safe mode. No hex key etc.. But I would find it a lot easier to purchase and upgrade with a warranty. They always have a 24 hr help phone number. One of you may not want a 1:00 AM phone call for a silly question about I forgot to plug something in. Or I ran total recovery and I forgot to plug my mouse in and now it is not responding.

Is it loading pages extremely fast? I know, it sounds dumb. fileburst Try the 20MB test and post kb/s or kbps which ever one it is.Right results about 1/2 way, that will be close enough, then you can cancel before fully downloading.

i will probably take you up on that, in about 2 years when i feel mine starting to outdate. Only 6 months old. "emachines T6522". Would have been nice to waited a couple of months to have double DVD burner though. Don't really need one though.

Boy am i going to love it when I get on 4000 in Sept., then nobody can say that I am bursting. Bursting is actually nice for me since I mostly surf anyway! I know bursting is wrong but it works well for me.I am socially challenged anyway.

What are your advertised speeds? Push retest instead of back button? Do you know of any recent provider upgrades?

Did you follow the tabs at the top of the optimizer. The: other settings:MaxMTU:Latency (Ping). On the first page did you click custom settings,Window scalling Max MTU,TCP Recieve window,network adapter for NIC. And do the latency(PING) three times. Then and only then should you reboot. wyantm06, you have just changed my mind totally! I had entertained the thought of building my next computer, and after watching you posts, and other posts in this forum, well no f_ck i_g way! I am sure CA3LE has had a lot worse than that happen, you just learn not to take too many things personal. You would probably be suprised how many forums have a member like"dn0", maybe. Or an identical twin in world you have never met, wearing your face. A company or web site lives on it's merits which can not be stolen, believe me. That is what is what makes this website so unique, it's members, who enjoy having a good time. Its not stuffy like others. I feel like I have known them all my life. Beleive it or not some tweaks take time to take hold. Even though people say reboot to set in, some times it takes a little longer to actually work into system. Hope this was the case for you! It is a lot of the time for me. Even though most it comes in right away, some it comes later. Unfortuanately then you don't know which one worked best!

Could be a coincidence, lots of company's have like names, address's etc.. A guy tried to sue me over it one time, I gave him my lawyers phone number and said that is what he gets paid for and hung up. Accidents happen and the web is worse than local competition because the entire world is competing to be different. Try to get a personalized liscense that is different from the ones already taken.

I may be wrong but unless you know someone who has it privately on a disk like i have you may not get it. I searched for it and I pass the validation. It is gone from my built in search areas. I would guess microsoft is just switching over. I won't switch unless i have to do total recovery. Good luck. Mine says it is good till July 31.
