Im not sure of a way around it, but there should be some other way for you to transfer files. Some type of p2p maybe, or you could upload them to a free file hosting site.
-
Yea all DirecWay users go through a proxy I believe so that could be filtering out and blocking some things like aim transfers.
-
Yep, the ata 133 will revert down to ata 100. Swimmers too quick .

Have you checked ebay? http://motors.search.ebay.com/ford-mustang_Ford_W0QQa10239ZQ2d24QQa38v1yZ1965QQa38v2yZ1970QQa39ZQ2d24QQalistZa39Q2ca41Q2ca38v1yQ2ca38v2yQ2ca10239Q2ca3801Q2ca85Q2ca10246Q2ca33512Q2ca10241QQcatrefZC6QQcoactionZcompareQQcoentrypageZsearchQQcopagenumZ1QQfposZ45419QQfromZR10QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQgcsZ13QQpfZShowQ20ItemsQQpf_queryZfordQ20mustangQQpfidZ2473QQpfmodeZ1QQsacatZ6010QQsadisZ200QQsargnZQ2d1QQsaslcZ2QQsbrftogZ1QQsofocusZpf Im not sure if that link will work, but it was a search for ford mustang year 1965-1970.

I think I'll call them up and see what kinda information I can get.

Ohio. Im still getting like 30 upload on my xp machine but on my laptop, with linspire im getting 59.
-
Yea I was hoping I would get upgraded to at least 10, 15 would be nice though. As soon as timewarner gets the new speeds for rr customers, does earthlink take longer?
-
Would that bump the premium up 3Mbps maybe? I don't really care about download, 5 is fine, but the upload is so insufficient.

Netlimiter like program for linux?

Thanks for the help swimmer, I think I found something that will work for me, its called trickle. http://monkey.org/~marius/pages/?page=trickle -
:haha:
-
Now I seem to be getting only 30Kbps for my upload wtf is going on. Is this stuff that rr is doing, like maintenance, or is earthlink in control of this and I should call them?
-
When you turn on your computer press try and press f2 or delete, generally this will get you into the bios and in there you can go and change the boot order. Once you are able to boot from your win xp disc you can choose the hardrive you want to install it on, and format it.
-
Your going to need to put in your xp disc, and restart then boot from the cd. You may need to change the boot order.

Are any other earthlink/rr users experiencing weird upload spikes? According to netlimter, when I unlimit the upload on dc++ its going as high as 150-200, when im only supposed to have 62.5 up. When I take speeds tests my upload is normal but my download is like 3.3. Anybody else having weird occurrences?

Any free programs? -
Basically sony's new dvd format which will hold more. Because ps3 is sony it will be using bluray. Theres a bit of a format war between bluray and hd-dvd, kinda like betamax vhs if you remember that.

I've got (k)ubuntu installed on my secondary pc and am trying to find replacements for all the program I use on windows, torrent program, word processor etc. So far I've got everything I would like except for netlimiter. Does anyone know of a bandwidth limiting program that would work with ubuntu?

Wait, by 10-20 do you mean like 80 to 160?
