I've never had a drive fail either, I did have one that acted strange, but I sold that one to php . Might be time to back up all of your data that you have on these dying drives.

The screen is made up of tons of pixels. When one of these pixels dies it stops doing what it should so part of your screen where the dead pixel is might not work, be discolored, or just act strange. Sounds to me like it might be something other than dead pixels.

My computer is chomping at the bit for vista ultimate . Overclocked opteron, 1.5 gigs of ram, 6600gt, and 2 320 sataII hardrives, sad thing is I'll prolly upgrade before vista comes out even though my current setup should handle all the bells and whistles microsoft can throw at it.

I still run 98se on my laptop even though it came with xp, 98 is still my favorite but we'll wait and see what vista brings about.

Who knows, maybe the makers of those games will release a vista patch to make them run better as they were originally coded for xp and older versions of windows and weren't made for vista. Of course when new games will be optimized for vista when it comes out.

I meant the firmware v23. You could check ebay but my guess is that since the demand is so great people will up the prices as they know they have one of the wanted models. I would recommend getting the whr-g54s as you can get it just about anywhere, I picked mine up at bestbuy and its worked flawlessly so far with dd-wrt.

If you live close to the school you could setup a wifi network if you have like a laptop or psp or something because if everything is blocked on your network then you need to find a different connection at school.

I would recommend v23 as it's been nothing but stable for me.
