Who in there rite minds would pay $150 for a broadband connection? If i had to pay a $150 it better come with a web hosting, a hefty 50Mb/10Mb connection and 5Gb of email storage.. and thats bare minimum.....

I have no idea, it looks fancy but what other feautures does it give you over the previous windows operating sytems? I mean should I really go and spend another 100+ dollars for a o.s. that will do the same thing 2000 professional will do?

Dude that desktop looks insane,, I wonder would my radeon 9800, 3.0Ghz 1GB Ram, can handle that,, do you all think that would be enough or would I hve to look into a upgrade??

It looks like this new operating system might need a hell of alot of ram and superb graphics card, anyone knows what the minimal system requirements are?

Does anyone know whats going to be knew in the software, and is it really worth while going to spend another 100-150 dollars for a upgrade?

You really can't you just go by whatever packages your isp assigns to you all's modems,, Realistically a cable modem could get up to 38Mb/second but not where I live,, and I doubt anywhere else that would mean forfeiting some cable channels.. Anyway Call isp and ask to see if they have a higher speed package...

The Intergrated Satellite Projector Systems completely bypass the film process entirely.. Production Companies want to Broadcast the stream to movie theaters now instead of the film aspect... Which they feel real bypass the bigger pirating problem, but you all know there will be an elite few that will break that encryption on that stream.....

A little history lesson first, movie theaters usually recieve a roll of 35mm film which is around $1100.00 to 1500.00 a movie; From the distributer, and show the movie and split the profits yadada... Anyway, have you ever gotten a bootleg copy of a movie that was SO CLEAR you couldn't believe it? And it wasn't even at the show? THERE ARE some people who robs the theatres and the trucks that deliver them, the movies and reprocess them

That I agree with,, the tech. has been there.. these companies slowly move this technolgy out so they can make MORE money down the years,, by swithcing standards and supposely offering new technolgy and better viewing experiences to the consumer.. IE. BETAMAX>LASERDISK>VHS>DVD>HD-DVD>BLURAY>HOLOGRAPHIC DISK>WHO THE HELL KNOWS You see all these diff technology just sitting there not being utilized right know, and if you want to use it they make them so expensive you bother not to you use it and make you look dumb down the long run when you don't have it... I'm diversivied in technology from Configuring servers, to repairing ATM's, I don't like the whole sit behind a desk and in front of a computer thing.....
