I thought you had Cable,, so your saying you have VDSL? not bad but still you HAVE TO BE close to the c/o for that speed and it isn't offered to the majority.. Cable speed is boosted up and down,, distance does not matter, but it's up to the companies to offer that kind of speed,, which sorry to say it mine won't give it to us... (Comcast)

Cable is the Shiznit,, Dsl sucks.. not hating on anyones connection though,, but I have had too many problems with D.S.L in the past can anyone else Agree with me?

The dreaded nasty blue screen is due to an IRQ CONFLICT, usually acquired with installing a new driver of some kind or new hardware installed,, or an update to a piece of hardware,, could one of these have been done without you knowing?? Anyway usually booting up in safemode and uninstalling the device in DEVICE MANAGER (conflict) will fix the problem, this usually happens to 1 out of 25 people...

Does anyone know the fastest connection, shy of a t-3 line, you could get to your home, a friend told me that theoretically a satelitte connection could be configured to allow the most bandidth than any cable, dsl line,, you think it's possible??

Well I'm in Chicago and I have Comcast and for some strange reason when ever I host a room All users that have Comcast service pings are like below 15,,, honest to god.. It shouldn;t matter that we are all customers,, right? But I have seen this like 3 or 4 times,, anyone care to explain?

I host with halo online for pc,, I only have a 8Mb/768k connection and I do fine with 1-8 users,, But the way it works is if you are hosting a game and YOUR upload speed is slow, regardless of how fast you download.. every one else's game is going to suck.. Every button pressed on evry users remote on their computer is sent to YOU as the server,, your computer then processes this and upload it to ALL the users so other characters move on their map... Servers need to have alot of bandwidth and computing power also....

dude i play all the time i just got through playing as a matter of fact I go under Kenn as the user,, dude with your connection man a 16 user 10min long King of The Hill would be tight!!!!

I mentioned this in another post,, other than hosting a website,, which most i.s.p.'s don't allow,, why the hell would you need a connection over 10Mb/2Mb?? What could you possibly use it for,, someone please hit me back with a reasonable answer...

But your still not looking at the MAIN POINT... from experience, and understanding how the network runs,, the technology for what I was implying is ALREADY THERE!!! it's not like they would have to do a catastrophic system upgrade for the entire network!!! This was planned when they unleashed digital cable,,, Do you really understand how much bandwidth a cable wire can hold?? The speed for a 30/5 connection is already possible, they gradually rise it with cost over time,, I admit I don't really know what the hell you could do with a 30Mb connection that you can't do more than a 10Mb connection,, but the way that technology changes we may need that kind of speed in the future(INTERNET2) I am just debating how these small companies offer a much higher speed than the big ones at a more cost effective price.. Even understanding all of the technical jargon behind it why YOU think they lower the speeds, but still they have the resources to do what I said,,, MORE MONEY MORE MONEY>>>>

DVD shrink is also good, more options and very Simple Layout, but it was made before DVD DECRYPTER so some movies are immune to it, thats why i still use DVD DECRYPTER when i can;t Backup a DVD using DVD SHRINK...

That may be true, the cable industry has been so monopolized over the past few years, but I guarantee you that this is there gimmick for you to pay more down the line,, your right, that kind of upgrade WOULD cost a fortune, but it's already there they just deny us of the service... RSVP
