  1. Dude any new HDTV that you get WILL have at least 2 HD hookups...
  2. I would burn Best-BYE down if I could
  3. No i'm serious,, Not like a loud Outstanding noise,, but a small clicking noise. Maybe never noticed but celerons do make noise
  4. Why would you want to do this anyway?
  5. Plus the celerons make loud CLICKING NOISES when they process which gets on my nerves.. they sound like grinders when there on!!
  6. There is money to be made in ignorance and not Understanding.. Trust me this is how I still have a job as an IT Consultant
  7. I have Comast Cable and I have Their Dvr service too, They give you the box and the cables along with the remote for ur hdtv.. for an extra 5 bucks a month. not bad.. but ANY HDTV should have Component inputs r/g/b/ and that is how comcast connects the box to your tv.. Though the box also has an DVI, FIREWIREE, USB and HDMI port also, but a component port is supreme for video... and also... And remeber the bigger tv's the more you should sick back from them.. if you go with something over 50in it should be far like in a basement... it will look funny if ur close on a big screen, u will see all of the imperfections so choose wisely to ur room size.
  8. He has comcast and they offer Hi-Def Local over the Cable like I have. no need for an extra antenna like sattelite. Anyway "destructionfever" I thought you wanted a 32-37 inch tv or has your mind changed?
  9. You mean the the retarded squad, they hire and call them experts... It seems like they tell everyone "Oh we can't fix this but we can put Windows back on here for $129.00,, WTF" I can do that my damn self....
  10. Damn good buy me personally gotta hate that damn Celeron processor.
  11. Dude, built in tuners are a waste most Satellite and Cable providers REQUIRE YOU to have there boxes to recieve HI-DEF and regular channels.. HD-BUILT in just means that you can get local channels without a box... Most Providers give you this anyway with Cable/Sattelite, All you need is an hd-ready tv and I'm pretty sure your provider has a compatible box.
  12. They may not offer that speed to you anymore due to new fiber optic equipment in your neighborhood. That speed you were getting may require you to get a VDSL modem instead of your old ADSL modem.
  13. I mean on my desktop I have a 17" CRT and works well with my needs, I had an option to go LCD but personally I believe VGA going into CRT over LCD looks superb. Not knocking Lcd's But there too expensive and offer nothing more than just space....
  14. I love the clarity of CRT, and the longevity of it. LCD"s are cool and small but I think there are not as clear as CRTs..
  15. Cable has a high bandwidth yield by far, which means more information at one time, but DSL is faster by means of it gets to you quicker.. Example Two cars same speed,, Dsl/MiniCoupe CABLE/Van,, the Van can hold more information just like more people, so more data at one time. Now say, two cars Van/CABLE FERRARI/DSL the dsl can move faster than the van, but that van is holding alot more information than making constant trips like DSL... Get it?
  16. The Simpsons, Family Guy, and I hear Futurama is comming back too :>)
  17. Either your right next door to the Central Office of your DSL, But they still place caps on dsl, don;t they?? Anyway I think you may have a corrupted configuration file whithin your DSL MODEM. The configuration file comes from the DHCP server and tells all the modems on the network, their ip adresses and how fast to run. I think either your modem has a bad file and is letting you run your modem uncapped... I have seen this before, although rare... But I'm pretty sure your ISP will notice and fix this glitch within your modem in due time,
  18. Hell make sure there isn't a irq conflict in the bios also,, and look for any suspicious new software/hardware that you recently installed
  19. Or you could have bad Cable Splitters, Bad splitters would cause signal loss too.
  20. Well it depends, if it did any extra wiring in your house other than what they originally did then yes, it's YOUR problem then. But if it's outside your house they would have to fix it. Like I said if you have more than 4 items plugged to the cable line comming to your house, and they say you have signal loss. You WILL HAVE TO PAY for the amplifier...Or find one of your own..
  21. It seems you have signal loss.. You need a good dedicated line to your cable modem, or a house Amplifier from comcast. Which they charge you about 50bucks for,, Comcast state in their Customer Agreement that They are only responsible for 4 sources on the user end... Which means after YOU connect more than 4 things to your cable line YOU NEED an amplifier.. which they are NOT entitled to just giving you... I mean i Have 2 Tv's and a cable modem on my line.. it seems you have 5 items on yours..
  22. And also reset Security/Privacy settings back to Default also
