  16. Wait Wait Wait.... How the hell did u set up a wireless router to a Satellite Dish??? And futhermore Where did you get the extra power to transmit Wi-fi that far?
  17. I've Found Setting most Wireless Routers to channel 3 Gives me a 9% boost in wireless speed. I have tested this with Ailink,d-link,netgear,us-robotic routers. and have seen some improvement. Don't know the reason though. I've heard some say. Most Routers/wifi come right out of the box operating at channel 11, and it's overcrowding the freq. Thus some recieve lower transfer rates for 802.11g routers.
  18. Who here Really Buyz any O.S.? We all (find) ways of getting one don't we. I know I do
  19. First of all, Your school would have to have a V.P.N established on their network. Most schools do. Your problem would most likely be; convincing your school admin. to grant you (legal) access to their network from home. Most Vpn's are given to Employees/Teachers, for accessing files at school from other schools via VPN. Rarely even they give teachers access from their homes.....
  20. THANX EVERYONE HAS A BEEN A GREAT HELP......
  21. Hey Guyz, I know this is off the usual topic. But I just recently bought a Lg Vx9800 from Verizon. And they did something to all the phones to prohibit users from recording sounds or assigning MP3's as ringtones. Is there a nifty trick some 1 has learned to get around this?
