Ok so probably no signal loss in between the cable and the box outside right? You should at least be getting a 90% connection of ur ISP speed ur only at 70% and that in it self is not so good. And the issue with the router is probably something very small. Are you able to transfer files to and fro each computer on the network in ur house at high speeds?

How many devices Ie. (tv's, phones, cable modems, Cable boxes) are connected to your cable line? do u have a direct connection to your modem or does it share something else in your house?

at the command line "NETSTAT" allows you to see at any moment who and what are using what ports on your computer at any time... I always do this from time to time and if I see an ip polling me too long I send them A NICE LITTLE TREAT

Dude why do you need a t-1? get a good Cable Or High Dsl Package and Nice router for your business.. I mean I have a 8Mb/1Mb line going into my office and about 15 computers and 2 I.P phones and works great. I limit the amount of bandwidth per node on my end via my VERY EXPENSIVE CISCO router, and works great... unless you truly need the reliabilty of a T-1 and need at least 25 phones and 100 computers on the internet, a local Cable or Dsl package will work for you... at a fraction of a T-1
