I getting the google page but it doesn't have the search button. I was wondering if any one else is getting this. It only does it in FF.

When my USB ports stopped working on my desktop I reset the CMOS and everything started working again. I pulled a USB drive out to soon and it caused the problem. Just food for thought.

It depends if you are buying the McAfee and putting it up against the free Avira! Like Mudmanc4 said its just a matter of opinion to which one is best. I'm using NOD32 on one machine and VIPRE on another. I have no complains about either and they do their jobs!

You just get their Wireless Broadband service. No, you don't need their phone service to do this. You will also need to get a USB antenna from them. Tommie has this set and can explain it better to you.

Did you try a System Restore?

I'm going be interested in the answer to this question myself. I just replaced my HHD in my laptop and was going to do the same. I got a feeling it won't see whats there is because the OS's are conflicting each other. Have you tried setting the boot order to USB?

Welcome to the forum! Do you have EVDO coverage in your area? If so many here have switched to it from WB,Hughes and other Satellite internet and are very happy with it. I'm sure Tommie will see your post and have something to say since he is one of the members who use EDVO!

Actually if you figure in about 10% overhead he is over cap! You never can control a switch, router or traffic on a backbone!

Well your getting 1399 Kbps is 170.78 kB/s Or 1.4 Mbps across the pond and that's not to bad for a 2 meg connection. When you see download speed was only running at 60%, means you are being limped in with everyone your ISP gives service to. I'm sure they have higher speed packages than yours. Personally I wouldn't worry about the percent thing. Also your going to loose 10-15% or more crossing the pond, with that being said I'd say your speed test is right on the money!

If you have cablenut installed give this file a try. Remember to reboot for the settings to take affect. Also you should use a larger upload test like the (2.9MB) - 2992 kB.
