Will do just , but it wont be untill September I am under a contract with Pipex till then , I am hoping to learn from your "Be" experiance BTW, my neighbour had NTL/Virgin , for phone and TV , they burried the cable only 3 inches under the ground , he is a keen gardener and put his spade through the cable , he had to pay for the repair, and was without phone or tv for weeks,
  9. Thanks just for the TV lic. info , Yeah I am a bit woried about TV cards , I have a computer in for reload and it has a tv card fitted, not my computer but on my premiss's , so I had better remove the card , and reinstall it on return , LOL I am looking at Be with a 4Gb cap, more than enough for me , cable with Virgin sounds good , but I don't fancy the hassel of having the garden dug up for the cable connection , Pipex is OK and has been very reliable , apart for their billing , I note they are now charging me
  10. I wish Tommie , well you are kinda right, but it is daughter and family , again , every time I get on the trail of a hot chick , the family kicks in , the old" blood is thicker than water" routine has kicked in again , sometimes I wish I was born a orphan : drive on the "RIGHT" your genes wouldn't have survived in the UK , I guess you are right handed , (" left handed people were spawned by the devil" Old English beliefe and we wont except a left handed King ) nor a Catholic one either ) your sword is in on ' left , giving a faster draw with attacks from the left side of the road and as a English Bowman I am excussed Church on Sunday so I can practice archery , this has never been taken of the law books ,

BTW sorry for letting this topic drift, my online time is being severely curtailed at the moment , but "normal transmision will be resumed as soon as possible" the old BBC responce to a transmiter failure

  19. sorry for not following this , is it a sort of remembrance day for those fallen in war ? ( we have ours in the UK on the 11 hour on the 11 month ) anyway , they have my respect , to loose your life for your country , has to be the ultimate sacrifice , and should never be forgot by those that gained freedom from that loss , IMHO
  20. Not in my opinion , if we ignore crap , thats all we deserve , just walk away and they will still dish up the same old crap , each problem cost them $$$$ , So in my view "GO Swimmer " raise Cain , and we all benefit, IMHO

  22. Clarification about the use of QoS in end computers that are running Windows XP As in Windows 2000, programs can take advantage of QoS through the QoS APIs in Windows XP. One hundred percent of the network bandwidth is available to be shared by all programs unless a program specifically requests priority bandwidth. This "reserved" bandwidth is still available to other programs unless the requesting program is sending data. By default, programs can reserve up to an aggregate bandwidth of 20 percent of the underlying link speed on each interface on an end computer. If the program that reserved the bandwidth is not sending sufficient data to use it, the unused part of the reserved bandwidth is available for other data flows on the same host. Unfortunately, disabling QoS RSVP doesn't do much. QoS isn't even used in most home networks; Microsoft enabled it by default on Windows XP Professional to make the deployment of QoS in enterprise environments a bit easier,
