http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/default.mspx
I suggest Sygate also, i've been using it forever and it never lets me down. I pass all those trustealth tests at that one website (grc.com or something)
Its also very light on resources but very strong protection
hmm..who says its MICROSOFT office...could just be my Office documents from 2003
Mine says 5% on a 5 Mbps connection...seems right. But thats only download speed, isnt it?
I played the game for a little bit, but it just didnt suit me. I found it kinda boring...the extensive training and whatnot.
It just didnt feel as 'fun' as a regular FPS, like halo or CS
Alright, so i was uploading something to my ftp and i noticed that my upload speed was going like 3-5x faster than its supposed to be going.
Read the image for more details...so whats it look like? Is it some software error, or am i really uploading that fast
I'm hoping for the latter
So, who here's gotten themselves a copy of the latest Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince?
I myself am purposely not buying it for a while b/c i need to read my English AP book
If it get HP...i wont ever read the english book (some stupid russian-translated romance book...bleh)

People these days...kinda sad though
Does anyone know that one website that you can type someones name and email address into, and it sends them a fake filesharing list with their name in it, but it looks legit enough for a noob to fall for it?
I remember it was like a joke site or something (kind of like how compfused.com and ebaumsworld.com is)
If anyone knows what it is.....pls post it!
6881-6999 are the default ports. But some programs allow u to change port numbers. I, too, am using 50000-60000 because IF an ISP does block bittorrent ports, they'll most likely block 6881-6999. BTW, im using the bittorrent client called ABC
Well, if you are behind a router, you will get faster speeds if u do port forwarding for the ports that your bittorrent client uses.
Also, your BT speeds would probably also get faster if you allowed bittorrent full access to the internet thru your firewall (if you have a firewall)
i get over the cap every now and then, but usually im right at about 5000
when the upgrade first happened, i was getting over 6000, those were the days. but o well, 5000 is still pretty good
