  5. when i got new ram for my i9300, i ran the memtest for 8 passes. i figured its enough since i had no errors, so i stopped there. Also, dont worry about single channel or dual channel on the i9300. dual channel has no benefit in the i9300 because the fsb is the same speed as the ram (some guy proved it had no impact at notebookforums).
  6. once you go to evererst, at the topc click report>quick report>html. it will start scanning your system and may take a fwe minutes. you're advised to not use your system while its scanning so that it goes faster. once it finishes, it will bring up your report. Save the file and upload it as an attachment on this website

  9. if you ever find that song again, lemmi know what its called i tried "has van tag" in google, didnt really find anything =/ (tried 'haas', 'taag' and a bunch of other variations too )
  10. another thing that might be causing the problem...is your house giving off any like strange signals? stuff that might be messing up the way the laptop works? just a thought
  11. i usually get fastest speeds on FF, then opera, then IE. But for some reason, lately i've been using Opera A LOT. In fact, i dont remember the last time i opened up FF in the last few days, lol. For those of you who havent tried opera and think FF is the best (like i did before), give Opera a shot. I dont see why Opera isnt as popular as FF. Even some of the IE only sites work better in Opera than in FF for strange reasons.
  12. the music on the site will work in IE only...another drawback of living in a microsoft world
  13. lol..i didnt say it to be an asshole..i seriously thought u didnt know it was 'beta'...excuse me for tryin to help
  14. You should just get rid of that service and just get dialup...60 bucks for maybe 5 or 6 more kbps than dialup...what a ripoff.
  15. i downloaded it yesterday, used it for a bit. it was nice, but not good enough for everyday use yet. also, i didnt like the fact that it installed "AOL Explorer" and this one other thing (forgot the name of it) without even telling me it was going to. so yea, i'll stick with AIM 5.5 w/middle_man. I used to have trillian pro...but due to random crashes for no reason, i was forced to go back to regular aim. i miss tabs but yea...i think the original AIM is the best IM client, because with addon programs (deadaim, middleman, aimutation, etc, it just cant really be beat in terms of stability and speed) p.s. just for future reference, programs that are still in the testing stages and whatnot are 'beta', not 'bata' lol, just thought u mite want to know
  16. have you tried the cablenut tweaks by vanburen? http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-1013.0
  17. http://naziforest.ytmnd.com/ thats where i got it from, lol
  18. what exactly are you downloading? if you're downloading something from a not-so-great-and-very-slow server, then of course you're going to not be able to dl at your max. http://download.microsoft.com/download/d/7/3/d7348fe3-d498-4e13-96c6-3da92e8f0c62/aoe3trial.exe download that, its a fairly large file on a pretty good server. it will give you a good indication of your speed and if you truly are getting only 80kb/s or if its just the server. btw, i'm using RR too and im getting a speed of 602.3 kb/s.
  19. anyone know what this song is called? its in some other language..but it sounds really cool i just dont know the name of it
  20. i occasionally run into the same problem and i found a quick-solution to it, although it does not work 100% of the time. if you have a file that wont delete, go to start>run>type in cmd. in the window that comes up, type in del . Dont forget the space after del. Then just drag the file into the window and it should auto-enter the path of the file. then click enter, and poof, the file should be gone
  21. Alright, I tried DMZ and that didn't seem to work. I even tried it w/o Sygate but to no avail. Then, i tried the port forwarding again. This time, instead of forwarding 50010 to both 192.168.11 (my ip address) and 192.168.1.102 (my ip when i go wireless), i just forwarded it to the .11 ip, and i got an 'OK!' on azureus and i got green smileys Anways, thanks for all help everyone
  22. I've already changed the port's to 50010 (Azureus only uses 1 port), and i've forwarded 50010-50010, and i also set my ip to static.
