At the request of tdawnaz, and out of respect for my fellow Testmy.netians, I have removed the original (way too revealing) pic in the starting post and replaced it with something more appropriate. My apologies... -Shifter-

Wow! In the fall? Are you in the states? If so, fall is like 5 months away. That's a long time to wait in order to see what your line can do. It seems like you would pull way more than 11.1 Mbps from a 45Mbps pipe. VanBuren has 10000/10000 and he puts up amazing scores from overseas. Hmmmm...

Is that $26.90 or $2,690.00 ...may be a silly question, but I gotta ask. Surely I'm not the only person wondering.

ATI already has the worlds fastest single GPU, but was hit pretty hard with the SLI technology, especially with Nvidia sweeping the top 20 spots in 3DMark2005. Well, ATI is ready to bring the heat, and you know how they get down. excerpt taken from ATI Multiple VPU works with two different cards ONE OF THE HUGE advantages of ATI Multi VPU might be its ability to let you use two different ATI based cards. As we said before, ATI Multi VPU don't use any card interconnector although Nvidia does. In Nvidia's case you cannot even use two 6600GT or 6800 GT cards from two companies since there may be incompatibilities. Full story here: ATI Multiple VPU works with two different cards

I have always used Download Accelerator Plus, but not the later versions as they don't work as well. I burned a copy from back in like 2000 and never got rid of it. I went back to it after the later versions seemed to be slower. This is the fastest build ever released, and it is totally spyware & ad free. It does give you the option to install a search bar within Internet Explorer, but I don't ever use it. Just uncheck the box that says "Show DAP Bar in Internet Explorer", which is displayed on the first screen inside of options/configurations. Program is attached. I hope it's OK.

With the dial up option, I assume it's broadband speed. Anyhow, I need it all the time!!

Looks like SP2 will officially be the standard from here on out, especially if the patches will be designed to detect if you are running it (I'm just assuming). excerpt taken from 8 Fixes Prepped for MS 'Patch Tuesday'. April 12 is slated to bring more than just a forced download of Windows XP Service Pack 2: Microsoft is preparing eight security updates for its next monthly "Patch Tuesday". 5 of the fixes involved Windows and some are deemed "critical". Critical patches will also be issued for MSN Messenger, Microsoft Office and Exchange. Full story here: 8 Fixes Prepped for MS 'Patch Tuesday'

Please help Cannot renew IP Address
organ_shifter replied to gina's topic in Networking and Hardware
1.) Right-click on my computer & select properties from the menu. 2.) Click on the hardware tab & select the device manager button. 3.) Inside of device manager, click the plus next to "+Network Adapters" & double-click on the connection you are using. 4.) The properties window should be opened now. Normally, you will find the link speed/full or half duplex settings under the "Advanced" tab. Hope that helps...good luck. -

Those are nice results. Anything above your cap is a pleasure to see. -
I couldn't agree more. They both are at fault, but I bet Vic didn't expect her to get at him in court once he fess'd up. I know he's pissed off and embarrassed.

So many groupies, so much unprotected sex...you gotta strap it up. I can imagine how hard it is to remember when you got this in your face. No disrespect intended to the women on the boards. If the pic offends anyone, I'll remove it. Woman claims star NFL quarterback passed along herpes in 2003 APRIL 5--Claiming that Michael Vick gave her herpes, a Georgia woman is suing the star NFL quarterback for negligence and battery. According to the below lawsuit, Sonya Elliot, a 26-year-old health care worker, was infected with the sexually transmitted disease in April 2003 after an unprotected encounter with Vick at the athlete's Duluth, Georgia home. Elliott alleges that after testing positive for Herpes Simplex 2, she confronted the Atlanta Falcons star, 24, about her condition. "I've got something to tell you. I've got it," Vick admitted to her, according to Elliott's State Court complaint, which alleges that Vick then told her that "he had not known how to tell her about his condition, and that it was not something that he liked to talk about." 2 guilty in nation's first felony spam case
organ_shifter replied to Swimmer's topic in General Discussion
Well, the verdict is in, and the sentence is stiff. The world of spamming should learn a valuable lesson from this. Hopefully spammers and the fraudulent scams they bring with them will start to come to an end. excerpt taken from "Spammer Sentenced to Nine Years in Jail" Jeremy Jaynes is apparently regretting the use of false domains to spam millions of computers, but he may be a pinch late, as the jury charged with the duty of evaluating his case has recommended a nine year jail sentence. After some tweaking help from Vanburen, you will be getting way faster results than that. The premium package is 8000Kbps down right? -
Worked great for me.

I didn't have downtime, but my service just started trippin' out on me. I called as soon as it happened. The rep told me that there was trouble with the service in my area and that they were working on the problem. I still had a connection, but it was slow in a major way. That was around 10:00pm. Now, at 4:11am, things seem to be back on par.

I use the Saitek P3000 Wireless and the Saitek P2500 Cyborg Force Rumble GamePads (which are great for fighting games). Both of them have just as many features as any Xbox controller (Dual analog sticks with digital buttons underneath, 10 programmable buttons, Shoulder Triggers, 8-way directional pad). I can play either way, but I do prefer gamepads that offer all the latest functions, and these two hold their own. If developers ever decided to design a true, flawless PC version of Fight Night Round 2, Tekken 4 or 5, DOA Ultimate, Soul Calibur II, Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects, Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, etc, the PC version would not only look 10x better, it would play alot better also. Any game that's on a console can be made better on the PC ( if the developers ports it correctly). Halo PC was much more true to the game than the console version. No auto-aim garbage, just pure skill. Replay value was higher overall being that it was online play ready (no gamespy tunnel software required). I think Gearbox did a great job with it. It didn't have to beat out the console version in sales in order for it to be better. The only reason that it wasn't big time promotion for it is because it's was deemed an old title that was out for 2 years already. Halo should have dropped on the PC first like developers originally planned to do , and then ported over to the consoles.
