1. First use smooth scrolling in your browser.. If you are using Firefox... Tool | Options | Advanced.. Then check the smooth scrolling option.. The other thing would be to download the drivers for your mouse. The only "Program" that I know of would be logitech's SetPoint or Microsoft intellitype application.
2. As far as the Blackjack goes... I would not be shocked about ahigh return rate. I am currently answering this on a Cingular blackjack.. It is not the simplest phone on the face of the planet. Just to add something to the iPhone madness.. There was an ebay auction for a 30GB version that, when pulled, was sitting at $800.
3. This topic has been moved to Make it Faster.... [iurl]http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=19687.0[/iurl]
4. As of right now it does nothing. The engineers added it for future functionality. My guess is that it will do something with the QOS setting for gaming.
5. The would be the command format from the command line.

BIOS Freezes up

I would agree with a hardware failure or some other hardware issue. If it is passing the memory test the it is looking for a boot device. Try downloading a Linux live-cd and see id you place that into the cd rom drive if the computer will boot. I guess a Windows xd would also work just as well. Did you heard any type of clicking sounds when you turned the computer on?
7. Sounds like fdisk didnt run right. Vista is NTFS... 98 requires FAT32. I would re-run fdisk again and make sure that you are doing it correctly.
8. Did you port forward correctly and turn on encryption? As long as you were able to get decent speeds that is all that matters.. If someone needs a copy, who is on a slow connection, let me know.. I will send one, as long as you cover the cost of shipping..
9. This should allow you to mount an NTFS directory with out having to format to FAT 32.. If you were to format to FAT 32 I believe you loose everything. http://en.opensuse.org/NTFS BTW I have not tested this to know if it works 100%
10. The best way to download suse is via bit torrent. If you dont have a client I would strongly suggest uTorrent.
11. another guide posted.. enjoy.
12. Introduction:
For this guide we are going to be taking a look at many of systems that are involved in Linux. The end result will be, of course, DVD playback of movies on your openSuSE 10.2 machine. However, at the same time you should be more familiar with the update, installation sources, and installing software using RPMs. Disclaimer: [b]testmy.net and its mods are not responsible for any damage to hardware, software, systems, or bodily harm if you decided to attempt this. I strongly recommend that you attempt this only if you are confident in your computer skills and have some time to troubleshoot. 13. Welcome to the forum.. Could you post a tracert for me? Start | Run | type cmd press enter | type tracert testmy.net.. Then paste those results back into here. I check the Comcast support forums to see if anyone in CA is having issues.. Like always San Francisco is having issues, but the rest of the state looks pretty clean. Which would bring it down to a signal issue, routing issue, or your setup. To check your setup make sure that you are not running the drop for the modem though a cable booster. Did you have Comcast come out and install the modem for you or did you do it yourself? If you did do it your self did you use any splitters? This is just to see what happens if it is not any of the problems mentioned above.. Download TCP optimizer, search google it is everywhere, and set the speed to 8000kbps. Make sure that you set the radio button to Optimal Setting in the lower right.
14. Here is what I found.. Lenovo 3000N 1.8 Core 2 Duo 1GB Ram 160GB HD X3100 Intergrated graphics (Don't shun this to much..) $999.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834146293 This is more of a business computer... It is based on the Santa Rosa platform Intel GM965, with wifi, and the core 2 duo. BTW Santa Rosa has been out for less than 2 months and Intel admits that not all of the graphic processing power has been used yet. Right now the x3100 is scoring double of the GMA 950, the previous generation. Lenovo 3000N Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz 2 GB ram 120 GB hard drive NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 128mb $1339.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834146281 Those are the ones that really stuck out to me.. If you decide to go with HP you are going to be looking at spending more $$ for ram.
15. Get some caned air.. blow it into the heat sink to dislodge the dust that has caked it.
16. I was looking at the site to see if there were going to be any live demos of this product... The only one that will be open to the public is in NYC. Maybe Dj can go and get us some good info.

MySQL Problem

Well.. it is a connection error. I would try increasing the number of allowed connections. Has your user traffic increased? When did this start happening?
18. Damn.. surface looks pretty sweet.. Wonder how much it is going to cost to implement.. I remember seeing this a while back.. not sure if was the one who posted it or not.. The Intel laptop is sweet also.. again with something that small and thin.. it is bound to cost 3x as much as its heavy weight counterpart.
19. System restore does not effect your personal files.. it is only windows system files. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/System_Restore If you do decide to play with your system registry.. I would suggest Registry Mechanic.. BTW Welcome to the forum!
20. They should have auto detected.. Also make sure that you installed all of the drivers for your motherboard. If you didn't there is a good chance that any SATA drives, like dlewis pointed out, will not show up until the drivers are installed.
21. Yeah basically.. It is offically called an ATX AUX Connector.. It is used on ATX/NLX 250-300 watt systems. This was dropped when ATX moved from version 1.3 to 2.03. So what was it used for..? It was used prior to the new 4 pin version to supply additional voltage to the motherboard. Now with extended ATX, 24 pin (Standard ATX 20 pin connection + 4 pin), both are rarely used.
22. 10.1 doesn't have all of the packages installed by default.. Then again 10.1 was really flawed from the beginning..
