Suck when you forget your power brick

  6. WD is the master at external.. their new ones with ethernet/usb2 are pretty nice.. might not be in the price range...
  7. as long as you dont have more than six users per router.. you should be ok.. otherwise ya you could see a little slow down.. (That would suck!)
  8. So like two seperate network.. that also works.. but i bet forwarding sucks
  9. For linksys and dlink they will operate as an AP.. not a Wifi router.. so the AP will get an IP address but then forward clients tothe router with DHCP enabled for releasing other IPs..
  10. Looking good CA3LE.. that is something that I really want to do when i get the cash.. You have a 9800 Pro?
  11. Adobe Gamma is part of the development suite so that you monitor looks as close at is can to what you are creating.. It is bundled with photoshop..
  12. First welcome to the forum!! There are two ways, i believe, that will work. Either plug the ethernet cable from the wrt54g into port one of the BEFSR41.. or go on the BEFSR41 and disable DCHP server and plug the cable into the wan port. That should take care of what you are trying to do.
  13. This topic has been moved to Networking and Hardware. [iurl]http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=13915.0[/iurl]
  14. those are still way beta.. i would either go down to 84.43v2 or to the Nvidia officals..
  15. a lot of users on the 6xxx platform are reporting issues.. One of the features that they added it look like is TV out for SLI.. which could be what you are currently seeing.. I am kind of supprised that these are not offical Nvidia yet.. Did you get them off the evga website? This is what Evga is saying.. # WHQL Certified # TV-Out/HD-out support for NVIDIA SLI. # Added support for VSync on Direct3D games when running NVIDIA SLI. # Performance enhancements for dual-core CPUs. # PureVideo high definition MPEG-2 de-interlacing support. # Usability enhancements when connecting to an HDTV. They are floating on third party sites right now... I think they are still considered beta.. but not 100% sure
  16. was it a graphics option? What motherboard do you have?
  17. does PCI-E have a fast write option? I dont even know if it does.. It seems that most of the time it is on the AGP older 5xxx and 6600 AGP cards.. i have seen a few 6800 cards with the problem.. but nothing PCI-E
  18. First welcome to the forum! The problem you are discribing it a know problem with the Geforce FX and 6xxx cards.. the only solution that I have found it to turn off Fast write in the bios.. but I am not sure that it will solve your problem.. is the card PCI-E or AGP?
  19. thanks dlewis.. that is what I am looking for..
  20. depends.. I have always done it DHCP off through the wan port.. basically turning it into an AP.. but the other way seems easier.. so go with that..
  21. in my sig? That would be the beautyful Mallory Snyder.. She is in the 2006 SI swimsuit edition.. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/features/2006_swimsuit/models/mallory_snyder.html
  22. I would get 2 boxes to mess with.. then let the games begin.. Just make sure that you are attacking the box and not each others computer!
  23. yeah.. i was trying to avoid the entire pc route.. maybe raplacing the video logic board with a pull from a tv? If you have any ideas.. let me know on this one!
  24. hahah.. that is pretty cool! where did you get that?
