drop it.. it is against the law to use some one elses wifi regardless if it is unsecured or not.. if it is a public ap then you are fine.. but if it is a private ap.. it is a felony.. They would have a log of when you got the ip and the mac address of the hardware you used..
-
wonder what the price is.. kinda reminds me of the minority report..
-
if it is speed steping.. which is what basically coolnquite is then that is what you are seeing.. sometime it will be only running at 800mhz other times, like gaming, it will run at full speed..

the ones onboard are going to be faster by design because that are connected directly into the southbridge... I can look and see if there is something out there to get some more info..

Alright.. here is the holy grail of browser wars..

hahaha.. symantec provides a utility to remove it because the normal uninstaller doesnt work..
-
hahahha.. First welcome to the forum! Read this first and post the results from the tests.. Then we can begin the process.
-
depends on what type of router it is.. Linksys router can do this with a 3rd party firmware.. Otherwise.. not really.
-
yes... It is well known to work.. you can share dial up over this method.. it is not all that uncommon..
-
No you are going to be using both connections.. So the wireless is going to share its connection to the wireless over the ethernet from the wireless computer.
-
Yeah you can do that.. It is called ICS.. you need to have 2 pieces of ethernet cable. and the computer that has wireless you need to have a NIC. To do this.. connect the wireless computer to the router into port #1. NOT WAN! Connect computer #2 to port #2. Then go to network connection folder. right click the wireless card and choose properties. Then select advanced.. enable Internet Connectio Sharing. This will assign an ip address to computer #2 and share the internet with that computer. You are going to have to have the wireless computer on to have the internet on the other computer. You also have to make sure that the NIC on computer #2 is on obtain ip address automatically and not static assigned! Let me know if you need more help!

Just ask microsoft about that one! I guess Nortan Antivirus is a piece of spyware..
-
At one point in the game yes Limewire did have spyware to get information about the users. But after user complaints they released a newer version that had no spyware. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/news/archive/2002/01/04/financial1758EST0370.DTL http://news.com.com/2100-1038-5215028.html

Do you have the free version of XP x64 or do you have the retail version.. MS released a 364 day trial to the public.. after that time.. it would do something like that..

Shorewall NAT is slowing down my DSL upload speed by 100K
Swimmer replied to roninhockley's topic in Networking and Hardware
I looked around.. it seems that is just what happens with shorewall.. I found your other post on expert-exchange.. I dont know enough.. but you might want to try http://www.fs-security.com/ <-firestarter http://www.simonzone.com/software/guarddog/#screenshots <-Guard dog http://m0n0.ch/wall/ <-monowall http://www.smoothwall.org/ <- smoothwall There is no guarentee that those are going to solve the problems.. but they might be worth a try if 100k is that important. BTW welcome to the forum! -
Personally I find this humorous..

I feel like an old fart.. 3 years in december 06

What is your package at? 4000 for download?? that is a really good speed for wireless!
-
I would guess that you will be receiving info about that shortly.. once it is in the area.. it spreads pretty quickly.. since most of the time the infrastructure is already in place.
-
^ he is right.. Kaspersky has the fastest response times to virus outbreaks out of all of the seperate manufactures. I am going to have to scan this chart.. it is really interesting.. You would be suprised who wasnt at the top of the list.

Isnt it like every month we get one of these?!? But yeah.. Still an FF user.. I like the ability to customize, about:config, and make it the way that you want it. Also the fact that i switched to this from IE make me keep it more. I have grown to love it and use it. Infact I often look back, now that I have tabs, and wonder how i was able to live with having 5-10 seperate windows of IE open at one time! Until MS produces something more impressive.. I am not going to be switching. I took a look at the new IE7.. nothing all that amazing. Active X is still there.. Ms is already finding problems in the program itself... Just my 2 cents.. Check this article I posted earlier today.. http://www.testmy.net/articles/article-373
