I must say you get alot of respect from me. You get it... most people don't. Once you come to my country and you serve in my military I consider you American and nothing less. Yea and there are actually tvs on the market now that play 1080p. HOWEVER anyone who buys one now is screwing up BIG time due to the fact that HDMI next gen is just now being finished up and will be in tvs this summer. It will make a HUGE difference and add almost no cost.

Absolutely, if you have a reg. tv this is not gonna do you ANY good.

DVD will not hold a feature length film at 1080p resolution that was mastered in HD. So if you have a HD TV it is gonna make a huge difference. Be like going from VHS to DVD.

Actually you can wash a floppy. It could ruin it but I have had to do it before. Just pull the sleeve back and wash it with distilled water. Then put it in an oven with the door cracked and the dial set to WARM, put it on the lowest rack. This has worked for me before. If it doesnt oh well its ruined anyway.

Thats my whole point if granny can get by on a tank of gas every three months everyone should be able to. If you only fill up once every three months who cares what gas costs. Thats my point. As far as the golf vs hybrid thing your probably right.. I dunno. My whole point in this thread is that people do nothing to help themselves as far as gas goes and then its a "crisis." I could care less about the diesel/ hybrid engine argument due to the fact in the comming years we will be using neither, gas wont be around forever.

Well thats your opinion. I think you are missing my point that the world as a whole does very little to conserve gas and then bitches its expensive. Doesnt bother me I have a hybrid. I fill up once a month.. maybe longer.
