No such thing as a noob here friend, everyone was new at everything at one time. Well I say that since noob (geez I hate that word) is usually used negatively. Good lord I hate to say this. I hate to say it. Ugggg. I am Mr. Firefox. Ever since 1.0 or shortly there after FF has slowed for me and started shutting itself down. I have started using the IE7 all the time. :oops: :oops: I like it better than FF

Anyone got a idea on this one. I noticed if you right click, go to properties then change button it will gray out always use this option. If you right click and go to open with and then choose program it does not gray out this option. Any other ideas?

I had a problem similar to this on my friends comp a week ago. It wasnt the exact same but close. The way I had him to fix it was to unplug the cpu remove the internal battery and let it sit 5 minutes. Reinsert the battery and reboot. It worked. Now of course there is risk involved so take it with a grain of salt and BE CAREFUL if you want to try it. It shouldnt have worked in his case but it was a last resort shot in the dark ( and it prob wont with yours) but it did actually work for him. Just know you could bomb your comp doing it. BE CAREFUL.
