Yeah right, Operators can access our canopy and make some changes on the settings. Although it is risky but you can restore the canopy settings to its factory settings
If the LAN card's line speed is set to autodetect, I think it only detects 10 Mbps link from your canopy to the LAN card since the canopy settings might have been accidentally changed from 100 to 10 Mbps.
@heavenandhell you can also try uninstalling your LAN card and then reinstall it back. The purpose is to refresh the driver and might correct the problem (in every troubleshooting it always involve trial and error)
@heavenandhell, I believe it won't matter whether your Line speed of the LAN card is 100 Mbps or 10 Mbps since smartbro internet won't reached that speed
Heavenandhell I suggest to reset your TCP/IP.
To reset TCP/IP, go to the Start menu, select Run, type CMD and then hit enter. Once at the command prompt, type: netsh int ip reset iplog.txt. give a try.
hello heavenandhell, to change your LAN speed go to LAN card properties and go to advance tab and change the Link speed and duplex to 100Mbps/Full duplex.
Hello peepz, for me QuickFix from Smartbro-ken is a useless tool. You can ping by yourself the DNS servers as well as the Gateway, and the name of the software is very deceiving because it does not fix the internet connection problem. STUPID smartbro engineers!!!. It would just a waste of your harddisk space.
I observed that smartbro dns servers, only the 203.87.128.3 is fuctioning well. According to the tech support, other 2 dns servers may have network congestion that's why always request timed out. I think the other 2 are having technical problems. Although 1 dns server is enough to have a good internet connection, the other 2 are just back up /spare.
@bossjerjer
Actually tweaks might be helpful if you do have a good internet connection already as to increase your speed beyond 384 kbp or your plan. The problem is with the current base station performance which always fluctuate, you can not see significant difference in using tweaking programs.
DNS - Domain Name Server -> translates a website address (ex. www.google.com ) to a numerical ip address (203.67.223.212) .
jitter - > canopy parameter -> can be thought as noise in the transmission system (values are from 0 to 15 , 0 as excellent).
Castoy the problem is within your LAN card. sometimes the operating system will get errors on TCP/IP. I have experienced before a problem the Leased Expires date is the same with Leased Obtained. The registery got error on the LAN card so I have to reformat and reinstall again the OS.
I am so disgusted by there tech support, they always insist that the base station is okay, even I have observed that for so many months now that It is very slow during 6 to 11 pm and will speed up during midnight / dawn. smartbro is really problematic.
F*ck I can no longer transfer to another base station, blocked na yung antenna ko from other base station.tsk3..my speed is so damn slow. 200 kbps lang. I HATE SMARTBRO-KEN
