Ideally, smartbro internet is symmetrical in design, meaning upload and download must have the same speed (small difference only). The problem I see is that smartbro keep on accepting new subscribers while not increasing its base station capacity. So therefore bandwidth is running out, specially when all subscribers are online at the same time. Hirap kasi sa SMART puro sila QUANTITY wala ng QUALITY!!!

In other words SMARTBROKEN!!! We did not demand that we want to exceed the speed above the advertised value, we just want to attain atleast close to it. If it gets higher then that would be a bonus.

Hey did you mean about the LAN card? or the settings found at the canopy page

it looks like a standard telephone jack (RJ-45).It is used to override the settings of your subscriber module(the antenna). If your antenna is locked (intentionally by the field technicians) then you can use the default plug to regain the control and access the canopy page.

DAMN SMARTBROKEN ALWAYS HAVING TECHNICAL TROUBLE. MY INTERNET WAS DOWN FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS.

I strongly suggest, try access any available base stations / access points and make a comparison as to the speed and performance of the ping test.

The process is that, you will be redirected to the portal. but just follow every instructions (like entering username and password). Once you are finished the authentication then you can access the internet.

To summarize, you will select from the different access points / base stations and choose which one will give you the best result/ internet speed. ( conduct speed test every successful transfer a base station)

<--- you have to understand also that it does not guaranteed that you will have high internet speed. Factors like network congestions, overloaded base station could also slow down your internet speed. You have to understand the difference between good internet connection and high internet speed. You can have good internet connection( the microwave link) to the base station but still having a slow internet speed. Or you can have a high internet speed but with not so good internet connection.
