It's 2005 and they still don't support v.92? That doesn't seem right. As for the e-mail, you could use one of the free web base services. I've used Yahoo! Mail since 1998 and have never had any problems with it.

I don't use Windows Firewall, so I'm not 100% sure, but you should see what the settings are for WMP in the firewalls exceptions tab.

Welcome to the site, chefboyrd666 When you can't connect, do you notice if your modem seems to be disconnecting from your ISP? If so you should check your modem's power levels. -
You can use Windows Movie Maker, and combine the files into one file with it.

Blocking WMP from accessing the internet would most likely be the problem. As raptors892004 said, what firewall are you using?

I would run the battery completely down once in a while. Keeping the battery out of the laptop shouldn't affect it. -
Does the video play if the firewall is off? If so, then you may have blocked WMP from internet access.
