  1. Welcome to the forums decade146 Did you just get the 6/768 plan. Some people have said it can take a few days for it to "take effect".
  2. Did you read the first part of the sentence though? Purely reading the stats, my guess would have been today. But the number of people registering has gone down in the last few weeks, that's why I guessed 6/7/05. Are you more or less confused now?
  3. Welcome to the forums chnj What kind of optimizations did you use?
  4. Currently sunny and 80 in southern MA right now.
  5. I forgot about those. I love tha side banner one, lol
  6. It seems pretty cool. I don't know about the advertised print speeds though. hen again I don't know much about "thermal inkjet".
  7. My DI-624 looks basicly exactly like that too. Mine doesn't have the Zone Alarm thing though. Incase anyone was interested: http://support.dlink.com/emulators/di624_revc/
  8. I have the DI-624. I think the only difference is wireless and "X-treamG" for the wireless as far as I know. I have had no problems with it. It's also very easy to set-up and use. Basically plug-n-play. Some D-Link routers have trouble if you have your nic (mostly older ones) set to "Auto-sense" for the speed. I have mine(Netgear FA312) set to the recommend setting of "10BaseT Full Duplex". So if you plan on using higher speeds on your LAN or the internet, you may need a newer nic. You can take a test drive of sorts by using an emulator of the router interface at: http://support.dlink.com/emulators/di524_revc/
  9. Pretty good. What are your caps?
  10. Are you sure? "Average registrations per day: 55.3" https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=stats
  11. 71 to go. My original guess is probably 1-2 days off. I guessed 6/7.
  12. It sounds like it's being rebooted remotely for whatever reason. Maybe Comcast is doing some maintenance. If your modem is in the process of rebooting, you will not be able to access the config page. If it's not rebooting and the connection is on, Comcast may have prevented you from accessing the config page.
  13. Broadband here of course. I've had it since summer 1998, with Mediaone Roadrunner, I mean Mediaone Express, no wait A&T Broadband, nope, Comcast. Yea that's it Comcast.
  14. The first on is a deck of playing cards.
  15. Try holding the router reset button for about 10 seconds. That should bring the router back to factory default settings. When you got disconnected from the router, that probably corrupted the new settings. When you install the updates again, use a wired connection if possible.
  16. I use Zone alarm too. I haven't had any speed problems with it.
  17. Is it just me or are reply's # 11-14 and 15-18 double posts?
  18. LOL, the last one in the second image "Peter Tangney's 2005 Blog" is me. What are the chances of that?
  19. True. But then there's certain people. (not directed at anyone) If you know what I mean.
  20. Are you on the 4Mb or 6Mb plan?
  21. I like to Yahoo! rather than Google myself... anyway I'm spreading the word about Testmy.net without even trying. Assuming people search for "netmasta".
