    It's working just fine, but there have been issues with an update of Norton AV causing similiar results. So if you want to be sure you'll get an accurate result, turn off any internet accelerators, your firewall (especially ZoneAlarm) and AV (especially Norton), and make sure that you're the only person using the internet at time of testing. Moving to a more appropriate subforum.

    1152 * 864 1024*768 in games, cuz the system won't go smootly enough for higher resolutions, and I'm getting too much spikes already.

    organ_shifter: 50001 random ports are complete overkill, not to mention the problems you might get if you forwarded them all. 40 is enough.

    Just a short hype for some I guess. Running at full (or simply increased) speed whenever folding is on means more stress on the CPU and a higher electricity bill, tho a light bulb still takes more wattage than a CPU. I'm still running folding.

    If it's CAT5 (or CAT5e or even CAT6) and not much longer than 15 metres per cable you'll be fine.

    My only knowledge on it is on an old one, which might actually be relevant. The voltage/amp was reduced in the external power supply. Bloody thing always caused a bit of sparks when plugging it in.

    Could be anything ranging from overloaded nodes to aliens leeching your bandwidth. Often it's almost impossible to find the exact cause.

    I think that 200k/s isn't that bad, as my BT speed never goes above 100kB/s. If you're really lucky, you ISP doesn't cap/throttle BT speed at all. With a lil' less luck they block/throttle the default ports. If you're unlucky (like me) they use packet shaping to kill BT traffic. It's suggested that you use a total of 10 - 20 ports for BT, opening up 50000-60000 is rather extreme. I use 59960-60000.
