You can play games with a 56k, but you'll need more skills to counter 200+ ping. That said, I know a server where my ping used to be 70, then 50, then 33, now all over the place (33 - 160). I'm still fragging

The admins decide what's allowed and what's not. If CA3LE for example decides to ban discussions about cheese, then you will be banned if you discuss about cheese, with the topic quickly removed from public view. We're not evil mods and admins, and you're allowed to a lot compared to some fora. But, personal attacks are not allowed. They get messy fast, and I hate having to clean up the mess.

That's a tad extreme and not how we work here. Also, regular members have no say in who gets banned, this is for your sake really. Banning is a last measure, not a deterrent for people going overboard.

Interesting dicussion about internet crimes.I have to agree with resopalrabotnick here though. The author of that article has a good point, but could've presented it in a slightly less antisocial way. It's somewhat of a pity that Microsoft won't ever listen to people like him. But then again, does Microsoft listen to anyone at all?

The difference is not that big, IIRC an average of 1.2%. In favor of 8x of course.
