If this is your first time doing anything with linux you may want to install virtual box on windows and then install any linux distro in a virtual machine on top of windows so you don't have to do a dual boot.

Also your speed registered over 1000mbps when that would never happen because you would never find a speed test server that has over a 1 gbps connection to it. A direct 1gbps to 1gbps connection will only do around 980mbps. And there is no way in hell you would ever be able to push 1000mbps + across the normal public internet. We know you do not have that kind of connection to your house. Insanely rich people don't even that kind of connection to there homes. I've only seen 1 person have a 1gbps connection to there house and he had to buy it directly from cogent and pay for a 600mbps commitment. [quote author=☻ ◦

First off you will never get something that is even remotely close to TMN in speed from shared hosting. The hole point of shared hosting is to cram as many clients onto 1 box as they possibly can. Second, do not count on unlimited bandwidth you will never get. 1. its impossible to have unlimited bandwidth for $6 a month. and 2. when you find a host that says "unlimited bandwidth" or "unlimited disk space" thats a marketing gimmick you will never be able to use as much bandwidth as you want on a shared host. You will be lucky if you are allowed to use a few GB of disk space before they suspend your account for abuse. Go look around at webhostingtalk.com and see shared hosting offers section. In my experience you want to find a host that offers a relativity low amount of disk space and bandwidth like 10GB storage and 100GB - 300GB of bandwidth. On a host like that you will be able to get close to what they are offering before they either suspend your account or ask you to leave. And do not think for a second you can use that much bandwidth on godaddy with out them breathing down your neck. Iweb.com is pretty good for shared hosting as long as you stay with in your means. They will push more on CPU usage then disk space usage. The best for shared hosting would be mediatemple but they are $20 a month. Since your doing a blog make sure you keep your traffic #'s in check because blogs tend to use a lot of MySQL CPU usage when they start to get a good amount of traffic. I haven't gotten a call from them since day 2 of opening my account with godaddy and that was almost 3 1/2 years ago.

thats why when you see a smart person using a compressor using they always fire it twice before using it at there work. That removes anything that is in the tank that could harm what your using the air on.

What OS are you using? It wouldn't be either of those. It is most likely either a driver issue, or a missing file that Is needed at startup. And its trying to find that file or driver but it can't find it and eventually just gives up.

Yea... There was a few more but it looks like the bug bomb got them. These 2 suckers I got hanging around now just wont die

For 99% of people there is no reason to have a discreet sound card. The onboard card is more the fine and you can't tell the difference in sound quality. Only someone who is serous about audio and needs the extra features should go for a discreet sound card. The reason for the off board sound card was to take the load off the CPU but that doesn't really matter anymore.

Go for the ATI HD 4670

You have to plug your mic into your computers mic input for it to record.

Ok so I ended up getting the Grado SR60. I found a place that has the Sennheiser HD555 and they are not as good as the SR60's they are close but you with the SR60's you hear everything the way its suppose to he heard. And since they were $30 cheaper it was even better getting them. I would recommend either of these to anyone, but if your an ass hole when it comes to sound and what to hear everything correctly like I do you can't go wrong with the SR60's

I work for acoustic innovations. And my boss does what every boss does sit around, and work occasionally
-
Well yea, me to. I don't see spending close to $1000 on head phones, but my boss is also the guy who spent $3000 on a camera that was worth $2000 then had it stolen out of the office 3 weeks after he bought it.
-
Will do. $100 bucks is cheap. The grado's are $70. My boss spend over $1000 on the head phones that he uses, and they sound like crap because his EQ is FUBAR.

I'm looking to get some new head phones. I have an older Sennheiser pair that I use now every day, but they are in need of an upgrade. My choices are the Grado SR60 which are insanely good. And the Sennheiser HD555 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826106392 I know how the grado's sound and they are just about prefect, and the price is fantastic for them. But I have herd some good things about the HD555 but I can't find any place that has them to try them out so I'm wondering if anyone else has them or one that is real close to them, and how you like them?

So I'm just going through jacksonville Florida and the 3g speeds are actually really good here and consistant did 4 test and each one got around 1.3mbps
