He doesn't have to get an operating system. If your brother has a OS that he purchased, or you purchased and its not being used on another computer you can put it on the new one.

The Instinct is by far the best phone on sprint. If I was on sprint, that the one I would go with. Its no iPhone, but its the best alternative so far. I would defiantly go to a store and test it out first, because going to something where its 100% touch is quite a bit different. The biggest complaints ive heard with it so far, are the screen is hard to use at times because its plastic so its sometimes hard to use, and the browser is not very great, other then that overall its a good phone. Keep in mind tho you have to get one of there unlimited data plans when that phone and they start at $69.99 a month.

did you put the TV on the wall, or use the stand on something?

go into safe mode and try and remove it.

have you tried to reset the router? and reinstall the network card? Also what services are on for the network card.

try setting the DNS to use open DNS

Try the admin trick. get into safe mode, then login with username administrator and no password. Most never set a password when they install the OS so this works more often then not.

Have you tried to manually set the IP address?

Stay away from Palm, they are total crap. If you want a smart phone with them go with the blackberry 8830 or the 8703e both are really good. Those are the best smart phones with them.

Just because it was "made by" Samsung doesn't mean it's the same as the ones they sell with there name on it. Samsung sells many Low grade panels too tons of manufactories, and they always have problems. We have used probably close to 10,000 samsung LCD's over the past few years and not one has had a problem, From my experience samsung is by far the best.

You think Plasmas generate a lot of heat, get a decent sized LCD and you will really feel some heat. Plasma TV's have fans in them to remove the heat, LCD's don't, and after a little bit of being on, they become room heaters.

That one is also very good. Its not a top of the line samsung, but its still a samsung TV, and they are all very good. It will come down to, if you really want the extra 4" or not. Both will put out a really good picture, the toshiba will be a little better because that toshiba is there higher end regza line, but the samsung will still be really good. You can't go wrong with either one. I have a 42" samsung in my bedroom, and a toshiba in my living room and I love them both, We (the company I work for) only use toshiba, and samsung when we do installs that will use a regular Tv.

Thats because everyone has had to do so many fixes for IE 6 & 7. IE 8 doesn't understand how to display it correctly when there are all these cheap work around that everyone has had to do. IE8 will display pages correctly when it comes to final release.

Thats only if you choose to go that way. I don't think many people will do that. Majority will go for the $199. And since most are already in a 2 year contract, There is no reason too spend the unsubsidized price.

Of the 3 there, the Toshiba is the best. Stay away from the insignia. The shap is also very good, the picture wont have as good of colors as the toshiba and wont be as sharp with fast moving images. The toshiba regza is there top of the line right now, and there processor they use is one of the best, for being built into the TV. Its basically up to you, if you want the extra 4in, both are really good. If it was my choice I would go with the toshiba. Have you looked at samsung?
