the modem can only physically do 53.3kbps (i think, i'm to lazy to look it up, but its somewere are there) max, there is no way to get faster with just a single modem. You can do modem bonding to get double the speed, but most ISP's don't support that. There is no program out there that will increase your download speeds. propel is the only thing that can speed up browsing.

Look for AT&T Uverse with VDSL

you gotta plug one router into the other basically. take the first router, and plug it into the wan of the other.

Youtube sucks, he wouldn't want to use those. go with http://ustream.tv or http://revver.com they are much better. There are websites around that make shared streaming servers, so you can stream to 100's of people for onlike like 10 bucks a month.

its coming to south florida by the end of the year too. I haven't heard of that promotion, I know they give you 3 receivers for free on any plan you get, and its just $5 for each box there after.

just download the teamspeak.tar.gz file, un tar it with tar zxvf- filename.tar.gz and your done basically. There is a config file that it makes with the usernames and passwords you should however make another user thats not root and install and run it over that.

950 fps is really good, but 500 bucks for a pellet gun, thats a bit much. You can get a real nice .45 for that.

How old is this apartment? Everything has to be grounded. how sure are you that nothing is grounded? Have you opened a outlet to check for your self? And as php said, if the outlet isnet grounded then then a surge protector isnt going to help.
