Its just a burst in speed. Your not really getting that. I had wondered how that could of happened as well upto about 2 weeks ago when I saw the same thing happen on one of my servers with a 10mbps port speed that would go to 13mbps, and was told that it can burst to that speed for a few seconds. Its nothing to worry about. I wouldn't keep it on that hub tho.

Word of advice. Never put a song on a web, that is trying to be any bit professional. You can get away with it, if it does not auto play, otherwise it should not be there. when did ya get that job?

The internet on his PC would have nothing to do with that. Check Toshiba's website for new drives for the touch pad. If there are none, You need to try and get the generic windows drivers on it. Do you know if it also does that if you have a external mouse plugged in?

I would actually be happy with a 10/10 connection. I want the upload speed. I send a ton of pictures and video. 512kbps is just not cutting it to upload them. Even a 1mbps upload is not enough. There really isnt a big need for anything faster then 10mbps unless your downloading 5GB files all the time. Plus 90% of websites can't push it any faster to you.

right click on my computer and click manage, the click storage and then disk management Have you looked through and tried to find out what file is eating up all of the space. its probably only 1 file.

restart.. What are you using to view your disk usage? Try going into computer management and check it there just to be sure.

its been back up for a few hours now. But something broke, probably because of a huge influx if users.

check and see if there are any updates to the ipod firmware in itunes.

Because he can't delete the file when system restore is on because its being used.

first turn off system restore just to test this. then restart. After you restart watch your space, and find out what file is taking up so much space. Look through each directory. it will probably be in program files, windows, or documents and settings. Once you find what is taking up so much space delete it. System restore can keep this image file after a restore and it can be quite big so i'm thinking it might be that.

you need to get a program from apple called iPod Updater Find the newest once that works with your iPod and that will restore it to the factory settings. Or you could take it to an apple store and they could do it if you have one around.

This is not TMN's fault. At that time there is more traffic flooding accrost the Trans-Pacific Internet Pipe from the US to Asia. So naturlally its going to get slowed down because of the less avaiable bandwdith. You get a faster result from speedtest.net because that server you are testing from is 1. much closer, and 2. is on a much less congested network at that time. Also when you are that far away from a server you are always going to have a much slower test result, it doesnt matter what is on the other end.

have you tried pluging it into another computer to see if it shows up as a removable disk there?
