  3. why do you need a new case and cooling? you don't currently have a ATX case? and the intel's run alot cooler so you can use the stock heat sink.
  4. he doesnt have a 939. and i would not recommend going for old technologically. if your going to go amd go AM2, but the intel is far better in every way
  5. go intel. with them you will have speed now and speed later, get a dual core Pentium now, then when you have some more money upgrade to a core 2 duo

  7. does anyone know of any php mail scripts... I need one with a too address and a from address. thanks
  8. the order of the drives really doesn't matter. and it can't be a bad cable because it works for most of the install. If it was a bad cable it wouldn't work at all. it could be that you have a ata 100 cable and a dvd rom thats ata 33, but if it is a new dvd that is not the case.
  9. I'm wondering if they gave you a image disk. Dell usually doesn't do that unless you get a lower end PC. If not then there shouldn't be a problem with the disk, i have a dell windows XP disk that i use all the time. I would call the motherboard manufacturer, there might be a bios setting that they know about. or you might want to try updating the bios.
  10. do you have both the dvd drive and hard drive on the same IDE cable? and what kind of windows disk are you using? is it a normal microsoft windows XP disk, or a manufacture suppled disk, like a dell hp toshiba etc. etc.
  11. oh GREAT! shug is gonna be another year older...This can't be good.... jk.... :haha: :bday:
  12. thats a good TV too... I also have this one in my living room. And i would recommend it to anyone.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889102134
  13. the contast ratio is the best number to go by in that size. it is going to define if your picture will look good or bad. brightness also makes a big difference. I personally have this one for our bedroom http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889179002 and it is a great 32" TV for the price.
  14. There are a few good ones around.... Surpass is probably the best shared host around they start at $6 bucks a month for 200GB of storage, 2TB of bandwidth with cpanel. http://surpasshosting.com there datacenter is pretty good for a shared host.

  17. get the 32C3030D much higher contrast ratio = much better black levels. basically means black wont be a dark purple. It will be almost black.

  21. sounds kinda like a firewall issue.
  22. since they are images they are already compressed, so your not going to be able to compress them much more. doing the file split in winrar would probably be the best.
  23. :haha: what a stupid cop.....
  24. I would format it as NTFS, that will offer full function with just about every OS, of you take it to a vista or OS X computer it will be serachable with vista's search thing, and spotlight.
