any agp 8x card will work. even if the agp slot is only 4x. The slot will slow the card down from 8x to 4x But there is no point to put a 7800 in there, th CPU is way to slow for that, and you don't have enough ram. I would not put anything higher then a 6600GT in there.

Good luck finding a floppy copy of windows 98.... One thing you could do is put the windows 98 setup files on a floppy from the cd, and then get the setup started and, when it asks for a cab file copy that to a floppy disk and continue the setup. Ive done that before on a old notebook. It takes a really long time because there is like 130 cab files for windows 98 i think. and you can only fit one on a floppy at a time. That is about your only option.

So I was at the mall with the wife and took a look round the apple store while she was returning something that we probably didn't need to buy. So anyway i had gotten my $100 credit for my iPhone and i decided to use it on a new keyboard. So I got one of the new macbook style keyboards. So i got home, plugged it in, ( no drives, even for the media keys, always a plus ) started typing on it and this thing is a dream to type on. its such a soft typing keyboard, has just the right amount of feedback for typing. It is my far the best keyboard that i have ever typed on. It is insanely thin. and because of that i thought it was going to be flimsy, but its got a really ridged think peace of aluminum on the top of it. its really low profile as well. the only thing that i don't like is there is no adjustable stand on the bottom for it. But its not a super big deal because its at a perfect angel for me at least. if anyone wants to get one of these go for it, its by far the best keyboard ive used.

if you want easy gaming that just works go with the PS3, if you want to do more then gaming go with the PC.

when i had my PS3 i loved it, motor storm was fucken awesome. then it fucked up my HDMI port of my tv so i returned it. PC's are good too there are some really good games coming out for it, as well for the PS3. Its really up to you.

I don't know its too early to tell. also remember you will not be getting 70mbps to your computer. Some of that is dedicated for TV, and if you get HD about 20mbps will be for that. I'm hoping its not more then $50 a month for at least 15mbps down and 2mbps up. I am really looking forward to U-Verse from what i have seen, the quality is far better then cable and satellite, and much cheaper. It will be nice to finally be able to get HD were i am. LOL

That is the maximum they have it working up to right now. most people that i have seen, have there modems syncing around 70mbps Right now AT&T offers 6mbps down and 1mbps up. Some time next year they are going to increase the internet speed.

so far it can do upto 100mbps. As far as i know there is no dslam for it, its how ever close you are to the vrad and they are going to be all over the place.

No.. it would be way different. Its not like it was were a amd would be 5% faster here, 2% there, The intel's are 30% here 50% there, in some apps. anything over 10% and you notice the difference, and the intel's are often 10% faster. You will notice a big difference in the intel vs. the amd.

Go intel, its a far better choice. The performance will be better all around.

the merger is complete. They are going to be keeping the internet plans the same because they are just going to upgrade to adsl2 and vdsl. there is really no need to change the bellsouth plans to AT&T plans yet. And AT&T is using vrad's in the bellsouth region. They are going in were i am in palm beach and broward county because U-Verse is coming by the end of the year.

don't count on getting a DSLAM installed anytime soon. From what ive been hearing AT&T is installing only VRAD's now in places that are going to get U-Verse.

this is going to be hard, because OS 9 and OS 10.X is 100% different because OS X is unix. I don't know of anything that will do this, i would go post this question over on the apple forum http://discussions.apple.com/

If you want to over clock your not getting away from a desktop. And don't take this the wrong way, but its very stupid to try and overclock a laptop because of the limited cooling.

I'm not afraid of kids at all, because i would never do anything. But I am afraid of other people around my kid. I have a young daughter, and outside of my family, very view people get near her.

tstillery, no on overclocking, most likely no on upgrading CPU, its probably soldered to the motherboard. as for the clock speed, that is ok, they clock them selves down to save power and heat when you are not using them.

The only reason we are fragile is because of the drives around us. When I had a bike ive had people get so close to me that i can knock on there window. My dad punished some lady's hood because she was getting too close to him. If other drives would pay attention, there would be a lot less motorcycle accidents.

If i remember correctly there is no RWIN in linux. that is a windows thing.
