i also have optimum and know the pings are high but my sdsl is solid as can be though with ping times and consistint speeds to every site i test at. also i know your line is VERY FAST but i would expect more from fios or better pings than that. dont get me wrong its a killer connection

on the business one your allowed to run anything you want as long as its not cracked software. but that goes for any ISP right?

i doubt they over cap that much or they would be the best ISP around but there not and you might have a higher package than you think.

i think its the way the software firewall routes it compared to windows ICS but who knows i'll mess with it some more.

no man there is no limit i asked them and to prove it they offer web hosting which they didnt offer before. just as i said before i called and running servers is is fine on the upgraded package but not the regular 1

there will be no cap with business which means 0 limit on usage which means i can upload and download all i want and not get capped. trust me man i called them up and thats the deal and you'll only get capped on regular optimum online.

you dont have to block them all just if you think you might have seen 1 that is doing something you can check the list

those are some ips that you dont want looking at you if you run bit torrent and stuff like that with cracked software and bootleg music ,movies and just bad stuff. if those ip's are looking at you they are looking for something but doesnt mean you did anything or should be worried
