hes good on the download for his package, but with most cable co's the standard DL speed is 3/4/6 megs. with verizon offering 15/2 for the same price it is slow by todays standards.

Thread Resurrection! But i totally agree, i used AOL for years, so did my family and what not. But then we dropped it for Wal Mart connect which was only 10 bucks a month for unlimited dial up usage and it was perfect for my dad who traveled a whole hell of a lot back then. Then came Satellite which is a pain in my d*ck to get to work with AOL then cable and NO aol.... been smooth ever since.

make sure the router has the latest firm ware.... when i had an outdated version on mine it knocked my speeds down but as soon as i got the new version, good as new

Well last night we got hit with a snow storm and the remnants of Wilma. Our state and our local borough's didn't have salt ready, nor did they have plows on the truck's. I understand why, its Oct. 25th for gods sake. But we got 6-8 inches of snow last night and in turn our entire county doesn't have school today. But this goes to show how un prepared our state(PA) is to deal with fast acting snow..... I love it and I hate it.
