I think there would be fewer people on at 1 AM in the morning than 9 PM at night, which would give you a little faster speeds.
Why didn't you just take the test right after each other?
I had the same problem, but my signal was around 35 during the day. A repoint fixed the problem for me, so obviously I didn't have the same problem as you.
Maybe you can see about getting on a different satellite?
What good would clicking the validation link do? I believe that you got that score, I just don't believe that it's accurate.
1 mbps / 123 kb/s is accurate for the 6000. Unless you have the small business package, you're not going to be seeing speeds of 1.5 mbps.
