It's hard to tweak a self-hosted modem. Unless some settings are seriously wrong in Windows, you won't seee much improvement. Post a speed test and I uploaded my tweaks below; they're for dialup.

You still pay the same price, I don't see why they would care. There aren't that many users on the 4000 anymore, just let them be. You guys are suffering with your uploads anyway, you deserve more speed.

I think you can install one yourself... All you need is the modem. Ask some of the guys in the Direcway forum at dslreports.

They're probably trying to get you guys to switch to the 7000's. I would consider making a law suit of some sort.

Unless your XBOX has Windows, I don't think you can get Cablenut to do anything... Cablenut makes changes to Windows, not to your modem.

I only get failed transmits when I test upload now...

Also, try to post a test in the morning between 6-9 AM tomorrow. That will give you an idea of the speeds you can get.
