hi

Welcome to testmy.net, glad to see you finally joined up
2. Great review. Now it would be interesting to see a keyboard that is mutitouch, integrating w/ the screen, kind of mimicking to an extent. But you would have to have all applications available through the interface, not just a few. True that coknuck, or a squeegie
3. I agree that obama is running on NOTHING ! He speaks of all this change, what change, ever heard the saying, " the more things change, the more they stay the same " ? His speeches are filled with the ramblings of a writer that is trying to say nothing , by saying a whole lot of nothing. In this case, it sounds like the rest of the writings of people that have spoken w/ him, without a TelePrompTer, he can't answer anything. Don't believe it ? Just pay more attention.
4. Get to network settings from control panel, when you get there , youll see whatever connectionr u have, right click in the field, your options wil be 2 create a new one as well as bridge conections. You can bridge by highligting two or more of the shown connections. Are u sure your existing device is good? I would go grab a cheap ethernet card if your not able to try ceating the new connection. Just play around a bit, familairize yourself w/ as much as u can.
5. I had this happen once, i went into network settings, and created a new connection, it seems to me i either had to bridge the two, or i had a bad network device. Try this, post up your results.
6. You just made my day Jeff ! Sure is nice to hear your online. How are you feeling about your progress? And how long do you have to be on the heart meds?
7. Had to show mine off again, chances are, I'll be getting 25 % of that soon lol
8. tvscable huh ? where is that located ?
9. For starters just download "cablenut " from the link provided, this will allow you to place different values in the registry of your operating system, specifically aimed at the details involved in transmitting, and receiving data to and fro the internet. When you have an internet connection, there is always limits as to the speeds you can download , and upload, adjusting these settings, or " tweaking " them, sets them to optimal performance. First you need to know what " limits ", or " caps " your ISP, or internet service provider has you set at. Then look in the CCS files at the link I provided, for the specific range that you have and install that file, if you need help w/ this, I'm more than sure someone will be glad to help out.

Hello all

Well your w/ the rest of us on the " guaranteed " bandwidth, never seen it myself Lets see, whats exiting on this site, hmm......well I suppose that all depends on what you see as exiting, most of us are in to enjoying what technology has to offer in this world, gaming, new gadgets, phones, tweaking our operating systems in as many different ways as possible, and some that are only possible by trial and error. testmy.net is the most accurate speed test site on the net due to diligence, and the thousands of lines of hand written code that separates the way this site determines the results. You can also setup auto testing to track consistency of your bandwidth over the long term. If you aren't using cablenut, then this may help your connection as it has so many others, while your at it, brows through VanBurens cablenut settings and CCS files to find the correct one for your specific connection that has been hand written by Van himself. The off topic discussions range from todays politics, to befriending members and assisting each other with personal issues, as well as personal accomplishments. Here is also the link to the new iphone speedtest @ testmyiphone.com A more than handy tool . Thats just the beginning, so enjoy
11. Hey thats pretty darn good for smartbro !!!!!!
12. you like eh? Please enjoy the down load tests while you wait.
13. Hey there caboosefanatic, not bad on either the upload , or the download, what bandwidth do you pay for ? And do you use cablenut ? If so, are you using vanburens CCS files for cablenut ?
14. Uninstall the network device, restart, then re install it. Try that, if it doesn't work, post up, I'll get back as soon as I can.
15. Welcome to testmy.net scdreamin3, the tin can thing made me lmao. Have you tried using cablenut ? VanBurens cablenut settings have so many predefined settings in packages for every connection, he's the master, and literally thousands if not more people, use his settings. You can find the link to the cablenut program there as well. Download cablenut, then look through vans files to find the connection you have , and apply them, you'll be amazed ! If you need help finding the right one post back, and you'll get help form one of us. Make sure , after installing cablenut, you restart, and after every time you change the CCS files, you restart, then run the download test.
16. Running smooth today Even on the 100 MB test
17. I checked out the " instinct " the other day, it ok, but like d said, the browser stinks. They do have an unlimited, everything, they have to offer , for $99.99 , I have that plan, and it's well worth it for me.
