jun101ph Posted June 25, 2007 CID Share Posted June 25, 2007 @ripclawph , you have an excellent microwave link to the base station. I am very sure basestation ang problemado. Alam ko kasi no matter how you tweak your PC , the bandwidth is very low mabagal talaga yung speed mo. The best thing you can do is to email your speedtest to the TSR of smartbro. make a documentation of your speedtest and complaints. dito mo padala: customercare@ smart.com.ph . They will response quickly on email complaints kaysa itawag mo sa TSR.
jun101ph Posted June 25, 2007 CID Share Posted June 25, 2007 @ripclawph disable mo yung ibang naka install sa Local Area connection properties. Only the TCP/IP ( internet protocol ) and Client for Microsoft Network lang ang itira. or pede na din yung TCP/IP lang
jonath1h Posted June 25, 2007 CID Share Posted June 25, 2007 @jun101ph hmmm maybe u'r right..but my rssi usually never goes less than 500 and my jitter ranges from 2-4.. i hope they do something about this though. this is unreasonable. the least they can do is try to do something about it..(tagal ko na cla kinukulit ah pehteh amff!!!!!))) gourame Posted June 25, 2007 CID Share Posted June 25, 2007 glad you guys are making it right, just try your best though and maybe you can pull the best out of your current speed. post up what you did so others can follow, and it would be easier for others to try what you have done to achieve a good speed. drizzt1911 Posted June 26, 2007 CID Share Posted June 26, 2007 well now, I think my there's really a problem with my basestation. coz my LAN card is sizzling Hot, with these speed!!. Just tried this morning and I got this! Your connection is: 1147 Kbps or 1.1 Mbps You downloaded at: 140 kB/s You are running: 20 times faster than 56K and can download 1 megabyte in 7.31 second(s) Member Ident: CompID:1863221764971 Test Time:: 2007/06/25 - 10:41pm Test Browser and OS info: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) Test ID: N85YSET7Q (if this is a screenshot go to testmy.net to see if this is fake) Now im not sure, if something died in their datacenter or my basestation got hit with a lightning and it messed up the bandwidth allocation. Heck I dont care. I wish it keeps on getting messed up! coz I like it! Still keeping my hopes low, but i'll be downloading with full force with this stream.! Nyahahahahaa. gourame Posted June 26, 2007 CID Share Posted June 26, 2007 lalala makes it makes some people sing sometimes having those speeds. glad it still is running that way. @tagasipol thats surely way better than those days. try to bring up your router config and see whats set in it. maybe the router hasn't been configured to give its all. thats a suggestion, there are cases where routers are whats doing it wrong.
